Elizabeth Short's murder just shy of 80 years ago has been one that most people in the true crime world know well.  It is a case that we find intriguing and mysterious.  With well over 17 suspects in her traumatic murder the case still remains cold to this day.   Paul and I will be discussing the case and providing our own theories on who we think may have been her muderer

Ep 51 The Black Dahlia * Elizabeth Short*

In the 1930's in the Cleveland Ohio area an unidentified serial killer was at large.  During the Depression era in the Kingsbury Run shanty town known for bars and brothels, there were 12 torso's found in a three year span.   Eliot Ness who is famed for bringing down Al Capone was brought on board to solve the case, it was never offically solved.  There have been some rumblings that the torso killer may have also been the killer of the Black Dahlia.

Ep 51: THE MAD BUTCHER OF KINGSBURY RUN

1967-1980 in New York and New Jersey, there was a serial killer who would torture his victims and eventually dismember them.  Richard Cottingham was a husband, father and loyal employee at Blue Cross Blue Shield.  He was known to have a fetish of S&M but no one could possibly know that they were in the midst of a gruesome and demented killer.  

EP. 50 RICHARD COTTINGHAM * THE TORSO KILLER*

From May-July 1984 Alton Colman & Debra Brown went on a murder spree that lasted 54 days.  They earned the moniker "The Black Bonnie & Clyde" and traveled through Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana and their home state of Illinois. When the spree was over they murdered 8 people and injured many more along the way. Debra and Alton both had an abusive home life leading to the ever standing question of nature vs nurture.

On Thanksgiving Eve 2018 Pastor Chris Gattis shot and killed his wife, setp daughter and her boyfriend.  Tensions had been high for over 48 hours.  The neighbors and co-workers were shocked as Chris was known to be a great neighbor and friend.  Neighbors and co workers were beyond shocked thinking that Chris could never have been capabe of such a violent act. This is a case that reminds you that......you never REALLy know who your neighbors are.

EP 48. Pastor Christopher Gattis

Chad and Lori Daybell are both facing criminal charges in connection to the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan. The children's bodies were found buried on the Chad Daybell's Idaho property after a nationwide search.   This has also lead to to the arrests of both Lori and Chad.  They are facing various charges but currently murder is not one of them.   This has also lead to many more questions in regards to other people who have also ended up deceased.  The trial has been combined and they are both scheduled for trial in mid 2021.   Join Paul and I as we discuss the case

EP 47 KILLERS? Lori Vallow & Chad Daybell

On Septemebr 13th 2004 Charlie Brandt killed is wife, neice and then himself.  While many people were shocked that Charlie could have done something so unthinkable, his sister held a dark family secret. While this dark secret was kept quiet, Charlie's wife Teri's parents are almost certain that if this secret was known, it could have saved many lives.

In the morning hours of October 31st 2010 a family would be murdered.  They would be found later that day by their youngest son after he was concerned that his mother still had not gotten out of bed at 1:30pm. Could it have been a robbery or random intruder or someone much closer to the family?  

Ep 45 LISKE FAMILY MASSACRE

Known as the Vampire, Werewolf and butcher of Hanover Germany. Fritz Haarmann murdered 70 + boys ranging between 10-18 years old in the years of 1918 through 1924,   He was convited of murdering 22-24 of his victims. He had a lover during that time and it is believed that he helped lure at least two boys to their apartment though never killing anyone directly.

On February 19th 2013 Elisa Lam was found floating in a water tank on the roof of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles.  Her death was ruled an accidental drowning, but was this something far more sinister or paranormal?

Ep 42 DISCUSSION * Domesitic Homicide*

On July 31st 1981 33 year old Pedro Lopez plead guilty to killing 57 girls throughout Columbia, Equador and Peru.  He claimed to have killed over 300 girls.  The victims age range was 8-12.   The laws of Equador during that time only allowed for him to serve 16 years in total.  He was released at age 45 and has not been seen since.

EP 41 MONSTER OF THE ANDES

On the evening of June 4th 1983 a family and a family friend were brutally murdered.  There would have been 5 victims but Josh Ryen (age 8 ) by a miracle survived.   Josh told authorites with what recollection he had that there were three attackers.  A year in a half later this would change to only one killer.  Was he coerced by authorites? Kevin Cooper was convicted on four counts of murder and one attemped murder.  He currently sits on death row, but should he?

THE CHINO HILLS MASSACRE

Gerald Stano was born to a young suspected prostitute.  It was believed that he was neglected as soon as he was born due to his mother needing to work.   He was adopted by a great family but that wasn't enough to curtail his desire to murder.  He was bullied in school and later would go on to murder up to 88 victims though not all of them have been confirmed.   Its the question of nature vs nurture.  Could he have been stopped?  Did he murder any of them at all or what it for status?  Join us for our discussion into Gerald Stano

Ep 39 SERIAL KILLER Gerald Stano

September 1978 - November 1980 Gerald and Charlene Gallego would lure, kidnap, rape and murder teenage girls (With the exception of one) on the request for sex slaves by Gerald.  Their last victims were the catalyst to uncovering the victims that may have never been connected to the couple.  Charlene claims that she was in fear of Gerald and went on with his plan.  Gerald would claim that Charlene was a willing participate.  One thing is for sure, they were vile and dangerous.
