His O.I has resulted in countless surgeries throughout his life but has not dampened his spirit. Charles's body may be fragile but his outlook is not! In this episode I was lucky enough to be joined by Mayor Rhys Williams. Rhys was elected Mayor of Mandurah in 2017 which was not long after met him in the small coffee shop, Mataya.In this episode we spoke about the importance of community & the role it played in Rhys's life, as well as being a foundation in his belief for a better town. We also spoke about the role of self doubt and the importance of self acceptance in today's society.
