Macon burst onto the scene with his fabulous portrayal of Dwight Evans in revenge thriller 'Blue Ruin', which won critical acclaim and set him up for his current successes such as 'Green Room' We chatted his younger days of making films with friends and how that has never changed now in his 30s, the sudden burst of fame that comes with success and why he made Elijah Wood wear glasses in his directoral debut 'I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore'. What a guy!

Okay...so maybe not, but we asked them anyway. The second fine chap to face the '10 Questions' was the most hilarious Chris Freeman, formerly of the life changing band Manchester Orchestra. And So I Followed an Alternative Religion's latest episode sees us sit down with the quite frankly, one of the loveliest, most talented and humble human beings I've ever had the priveldge to meet. Kevin has played solo and as part of Kevin Devine & the Goddamn Band, whilst also having success with Miracle Of '86 and Bad Books. He is a cult figure in the scene for his extensive touring, poetic, heartfelt and for his thoughtful songwriting - he truly is a person I will always support. We talk going solo at a young age, living in Brooklyn and the inspiration he found in Elliott Smith and artists that spoke to power and how it all formed the husband & Father Kevin Devine we see in 2017.

Tim was a pioneer of the post-hardcore scene from the late 90s onwards. The release of The Ugly Organist pushing him to the forefront and his storytelling cements him as a genuine diamond in the scene. We chatted the rules Cursive have with each release, his journey into screenwriting and his love for horror and Rosemary's Baby in specific. A very kind and gentle soul that I had an immense amount of fun with. Enjoy!

And So I Followed an Alternative Religion's latest episode is with a genuine icon. ThreeOneG label owner Justin Pearson. For 20+ years Justin has been a focal point of the alternative and punk scene. Starting seminal, iconic bands like Swing Kids, The Locust and more recently Retox and Headwound City, he has seen it all and continues to push the barrier of mainstream - all whilst staying more than relevant. We chatted his younger days growing up in San Diego, the social climate that made him the man he is today, fighting Nazi punks and his mindset whilst creating some of the most mind altering bands of a generation. It's a special one.
