Remembering Our History

This past Sunday, Pastor Tyler Hardy gave an equipping on prophesy in the church and we heard corporate encouragements and words from members of our church family. Tyler shared about the security that comes from knowing God and the clarity that comes when we wait for Him to speak.

The Word Became Flesh: Joy

"Wordly hope is wishful, biblical hope is certain." This past Sunday Billy Gifford shared about the hope we have in Jesus, and how we should live with hope in expectation of the coming of our King.

The Word Became Flesh: Hope

This Sunday Tyler Hardy shared about the lasting peace that only comes through Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Tyler shared how we can let the peace of God guard our hearts, heal our minds and mend our relationships with one another. Ephesians 2:14-16 "For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments... that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross."

This Sunday Pastor Tyler Hardy taught on the certainty of Biblical hope, and how the hope that comes from Jesus is not merely a desire for something good to happen, but a confident expectation for the goodness of God rooted in His promises and nature.  "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5

Biblical Hope

This past Sunday Pastor Tyler Hardy spoke peace and clarity into the tension of our nation by sharing how our Father is the ultimate source of our peace, and how we can carry His peace everywhere we go. Tyler shared that our peace is not determined by external circumstances, but by the Holy Spirit within us.

Nations Sunday

This Sunday, Unbound Director Amanda Beunger shared about God's heart for justice. Unbound works to end human trafficking in our community, provide victim advocacy, and spread awareness through citywide outreaches. Amanda shared why Jesus calls His church to engage in pushing back forces of evil and the role we play in seeing captives set free in our city.
