I saw it first-hand. Three-wheeled and tiny, the right size for a 5-year old. Rustic, broken, singed at the handles, the tires, and stuck to the very floor it was extracted from when it happened. A remnant depicting one of the greatest atrocities in human history. We walked in a line, there were so many people who wanted to pause and take in the pictures of people dying, burned to the core. Indeed, they were burned to the core. I hope they enjoyed these photographs. The ones who suffered didn't. Myself included. We kept on walking. Whales of August #3

Part 2 of the Yokohama Museum of Art. The Tree of Life. This was the next room. I wandered into one giant collaboration. This large and circular room, filled with vermillion and tan, swirling monsters just the same as the one in the main pantheon room, all of them rising from one centerpoint. They crept out in all directions, growing as if imitating Yggdrassil, The World Tree. These large, giant murals reminded me of indigenous patterns, with their tribal inspirations we could see from down under. Reflections of Passion (Yokohama Pt. 1) #1

Welcome to Ants Under the Sun, I'm Norman T. Chella. Glad you found us! This is a storytelling podcast about culture, locations, and people. Sometimes, a little bit of myself too. The episodes are unserialised, so you don't have to start from the beginning. It's best if you start from the latest episode, really, I tend to get better at the craft. Hopefully haha. I take the role of a narrator and observer, and take you through different parts of the world, from the museums of Japan to the beaches of Australia, from how family relationships are perceived in Asia to the notion of power in other countries. The only catch is, I have to have experienced it before. We can't observe what we have sensed after all. But really, you never know where we'll go to next.

Zooming out beyond the differences in culture, values, environments, if we look at the big picture in society, we are all only human. From that far, we are all the same.
