Final Bow for Yellowface was founded by Georgina Pazcoguin, New York City Ballet soloist, and Phil Chan, arts administrator and educator, with a simple pledge, "I love ballet as an art form, and acknowledge that to achieve a diversity amongst our artists, audiences, donors, students, volunteers, and staff, I am committed to eliminating outdated and offensive stereotypes of Asians (Yellowface) on our stages." A former Principal Ballerina with Dance Theatre of Harlem under the direction of the late great Arthur Mitchell. A former Principal Dancer with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater & has guested with companies and artist such as Beyoncé, John Legend and Alicia Keys among many others. A graduate of Columbia University with a master's degree from Washington University. Alicia is the first woman of color to head the dance division of the world reknown Juilliard School. This is a conversation about true passion and how to overcome and persevere in times of trials and tribulations.
