I was delighted to have another interview with Joel!  His parents, Martin and Yohanna Chernoff, were pioneers in the Messianic Movement!   Joel Chernoff is General Secretary and CEO of Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA), the largest voice institution representing the Messianic Jewish community worldwide. He is founder and board chairman of The Joseph Project, the largest humanitarian aid importer in Israel, responsible for importing over $120 million worth of humanitarian aid, Executive Director of the Alliance for Israel Advocacy (AIA), the public policy arm of the MJAA, as well as Executive Director of MJAA Ethiopian Relief, which ministers to the Jews of Ethiopia and working towards their final exodus to Israel. He is also senior Vice-President of International Messianic Jewish Alliance (IMJA), which encompasses national Alliances in 16 countries.Prior to his work with the MJAA, he was founder, composer, and lead singer for LAMB, a contemporary Messianic Jewish music group, that pioneered and popularized the genre of music known today as Messianic Praise and Worship. The Lord keeps giving me new people to interview!  Today's show features GREAT music and a fascinating and fun interview with Marshall Beeber.  In his words:My name is Marshall Beeber. I am a Messianic Jew (Hebrew Christian), now in my early seventies, married and the father of a lovely daughter. I am a Messianic poet. I started writing poetry in my teens, but did not write God centered poetry until my early thirties. My journey in life as a Messianic Jew has been one of discovering the Lord's wonderful love for me, a love independent of my own works, be they good or bad. I understood the "Doctrine of Grace" early on as a believer, but truly did not trust His grace until I reached middle age. I finally came to a "heart knowledge" of the Lord's grace after going through various family sorrows and career changes. The lessons learned are far from over, as Yeshua (Jesus) continues to show me how His "grace" will see me through every obstacle in life.In 1997 I created an Internet website for Messianic Jewish and supportive Christian poets called the Messianic Poetry Corner. It has now become The Messianic Literary Corner (http://www.messianic-literary.com) , a "grace oriented" website offering teaching, poetry, books, and music. Marshall Beeber Interview

For those of you who missed Stan's first interview, I had the pleasure of speaking with him again recently.  I know you'll enjoy the GREAT music and this inspiring interview!Stan Meyer served with Jews for Jesus since 1985, and has served as the Los Angeles and South Florida directors. He was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He prayed with his Messianic Jewish mother to receive Yeshua. Stan went on to the University of Texas where he was called to serve in Messianic ministry. In Jews for Jesus he met and married his late wife Holly. They flew to China where they adopted their daughter, Carrie-Fu. Sadly, Holly passed away in 2011 leaving him to raise his daughter as a single dad. In 2014 he married Jacqui, also a Messianic Jew. Today, the Meyers live in Phoenix where Stan is finishing his doctoral work and they serve with Tree of Life Messianic Congregation. Stan holds an MA in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Seminary and is completing his Phd in Intercultural Studies from Biola University.

Jonny Welch Interview

You are in for such a treat!   Today's show features the music of Zemer Levav and an interview with Shimrit Hanes.   She sings beautifully and plays the harp too!   Also she just wrote her first book, The Dreamers, the Terra Colony Project Book 1.Shimrit is a songwriter/vocalist/harpist and never intended to become an author. A home school mom of five, her three adult daughters challenged each other to write a book in a month. Desiring to be helpful, she read “No Plot, No Problem” by Chris Baty aloud to her busy middle daughter while she worked. Suddenly an incredible story idea came to mind. Now she had a plot, and a problem. This was her girls thing! MOM!At the end of the month she and one other daughter had their manuscripts finished. After three years of re-writes and fine tuning, Shimrit had a finished book, and outlines for a second and third! Thus “The Terra Colony Project” series was born.Enjoy!!

It was wonderful to catch up with this inspiring young man!  Justin Kron is the founder of the Kesher Forum, an inter-denominational gathering based in Chicago, IL for Christians who are interested in learning more about Jewish culture and building bridges with their Jewish friends and neighbors. He is also the founding director of eXperience Israel, a spiritual pilgrimage program for Christian young adults, and he writes and speaks frequently on topics related to the Jewish heritage of the Christian faith, Christian anti-Semitism, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Rene Annette Wallace is Back!!!

Today's broadcast featured an interview with Messianic author Susan Salganek.   Suanhas a Masters in Special Education and worked with exceptional children as a teacher in both private and public schools. She also has facilitated workshops for parents and teachers. She grew up in a secular Jewish background in Brooklyn, New York. “I was always searching to know who God is and wanting a relationship with Him.” she says. She became a Messianic Jew in 2001 and has served as a creator and coordinator for various classes at Congregation Beth Hallel. In 2018, she created Tell My People, a Messianic Media ministry, which became a department of ACT International. She is working on a second novel, as well as the screenplay for Touched By Truth. I love interviewing folks - and having them back on the show again and again!  Here's another fascinating and entertaining interview with Marc Vidito!Marc has been a leader in the Messianic community for over 20 years in both a worship and youth leadership capacity.  He has served as speaker, conference planner, honorary exec and worship leader for the YMJA in both the national and regional arenas and currently serves as YMJA Worship Advisor. He has recorded albums with Kol Simcha, Kathy Shooster, Growing Faith, and his current band, HaShir.  Marc's two main ministerial passions are worship and youth mentorship.  He has lived these out at home by leading the worship ministry and co-leading the youth ministry with his wife Dara in their home congregation, Beth Hallel, in Roswell. GA since 2002.  He currently serves the Messianic worship community worldwide as the Ministry Director of Meuchad: Messianic Worshippers United, found online at Meuchad.org. Marc Vidito is Back!

If you've been around the Messianic movement for awhile, then you remember the early days with the music group Israel's Hope.  Marc Chopinsky was a founding member of that group and has gone to his eternal rest.   His son Eli has picked up the torch and produces wonderful Israeli worship music through the Ashira Project.  I had a great interview with Eli and his wife Vanessa and this program features some of the music from Ashira.   Eli is a worship leader and messianic music producer. In 2015 he founded ASHIRA, a worship project that produces Israeli messianic music for local, Israeli artists. He also serves as worship leader at Ohalei Rahamim congregation in Kiryat Yam. Eli is the son of the late Marc Chopinsky and Leah Chopinsky. He is married to Vanessa and has four beautiful children. A few weeks ago I had a great chat with Jonathan Biddlecombe, only to find out that his wife, Babette has an equally fascinating testimony!   I am very happy to share her story here.Rev./Dr. Babette C. DuPlessis-Biddlecombe’s greatest desire is to see the name of the Lord lifted up, His Kingdom extended on this earth and His righteousness, truth and justice established. Seeing people healed, delivered, set free, and discipled for their calling is very important to her.Dr. Babette grew up in South Africa where she preached and assisted in missions. As a teen-ager she wrestled with her faith in Jesus/Yeshua; trying to understand her Jewish roots and how God could use her as a woman. After graduation, she studied art, psychology and biblical studies and worked as a graphic designer for many years while being involved in social issues. She married Jonathan in 1986 in a Messianic Congregation and open her own Art studio once their first child was born. She also served in ministry in various capacities: administrative, preaching, teaching life skills to many who were oppressed by the apartheid system, designing as well as being the assistant editor of a Christian newspaper. She coordinated the opening and management of an orphanage for street children and witnessed many miracles along the way.At the age of 36, Dr. Babette, her husband and two children moved to Dallas, Texas after an offer of a tuition scholarship at Christ for the Nations. There she completed her three-year practical theology and pastoral studies. She was also licensed and ordained, interned in Chaplaincy at the Dallas men’s prisons and at a private mental institution. After graduation, her family moved to Tulsa, OK to intern with the Osborn’s ministry and began the immigration process while continuing their education. They met Bishop LaDonna Osborn and Pastor Chyanna Mull-Anthony in their first year of studies, and the impact these women of God had on her life as a woman in ministry would be everlasting.Dr. Babette founded Eagles Glide International Ministries in 2004 and started a Messianic Congregation, Beth Shalom, with her husband Jonathan. They also opened a Bible college, distribute Bibles and Biblical books, and are working on the opening of a Safehouse for abused women and children. They both manage their own graphic design and web development, Smart Art, and are working on a health food product that Whole Foods Market is interested in retailing. Her husband is working on his PhD in Hebraic studies, and their children are both studying and serving the Lord. Pastor Babette also takes time out to paint whenever she can.Dr. Babette has a B.A. in Practical Theology, as well as a M.TH and her PhD is in Religious Education.
