It wasn’t until recently that I remembered my love for coding. Now I’ve set out to accomplish, ever so slowly, a project—an app for creative solopreneurs—that can help act as their “online office and creative space.” And I’m 30 now, btw. I decided to get back into some of things I’ve done a long time ago because I really believe in building and creating things that help others. 49: Why it's important to put things out into the world

Imagine being passionate about so many things at the same time. It’s like juggling multiple balls in the air. At some point, you can’t keep up anymore and the balls go falling down one by one. You don’t have to subscribe to that story anymore. You don’t have to subscribe to any story that you don’t make for yourself. Just because you are multi-passionate does not mean you can never find focus. 48: For the multi-passionate who wants to find focus

The first thing you could do to get back again is to forgive yourself. By forgiving yourself, you learn. By being kind to yourself, you heal. Sometimes, it’s easier to just go-go-go when pressure is looming before you and that’s fine, too. Take time to reflect, however. Give yourself that space you need to think and feel and be in the present, knowing that it is all you have. Worrying and thinking about the future does not serve you anymore. 47: When you fall off the bandwagon...

Hint: it's not just about how you look. There are lots of content out there on the Internet already about all the ways you can be confident. You can dress the part. You can wear makeup and look pretty. You can work hard or act as if (you know, fake-it-til-you-make-it mentality, which is one of my favorite things to do, btw). But there's only ONE thing I know for sure that brings me real confidence: it is knowing that I've done and continue to do something about my dreams and goals. 46: How to gain real confidence as a content creator

We beat ourselves up so much but it's only because we compare our first day of school as a freshman to someone else's senior year in college. It just doesn't add up that way. Comparing yourself to others will never end up well, even if you think you're better. There will always be someone bigger, smarter, prettier, kinder, whatever-er. But if you compare yourself to who you were in the past and if you're thankful for where you are now? Almost a hundred and one percent guarantee that you will be much happier with your own life. 45: Wrapping up my 2-week daily content sprint

Feelings are what they are but they are not great leaders. They are great indicators but they shouldn't be the reason why you do something (good or otherwise). The word reason itself relates to the mind, not emotions or feelings. Give yourself a reason why you feel something and why there's a need to shout or yell. But also remember to be kind to yourself when you make mistakes. Beating yourself up doesn't help but learning and NOT repeating the same mistake is exactly how we can solve problems. 44: Finding patience. Patience, where are you?

Today has been one of those few days when things just seem to click into alignment. I’ve just filmed some vlogs last night, been in the midst of finalizing a project, and decided to take part in a vibe-y membership group. I felt so abundant and grateful today that I stopped and warned myself to not feel too giddy with excitement or happiness because this might all go away anytime. I’ve got a feeling most of us are like that at some point. We’re scared when we’re too happy. We’re anxious when things finally go right. And we’re apprehensive when we finally get what we want. 43: You Want The Full Experience

This week, I am just over being productive. I’ve just had the realization that I don’t handle work pressure very well, which is a bummer because I’ve always pegged myself as someone who’s usually graceful and calm under pressure. But when it comes to making and doing stuff for work (i.e. client work), I can just easily forget everything and focus on completing the task at the last minute. And I do get to typically complete the project but at the expense of having to neglect other aspects of my life. I rarely consume the news anymore nor log into Facebook at all. But every now and then, somebody informs me that so-and-so place recently had another positive case of Covid-19 or there’s another story or post on Instagram that shows more evidence of unnecessary misuse of authoritative power from so-and-so country or state, which led to women and men being placed under inhumane circumstances and stripped of their sense of dignity whatsoever.
