Self-talk is the internal dialogue that a person has with themselves, which can be conscious or unconscious. It can be expressed internally or out loud. Self-talk can be purposeful or random, and it can affect your mental health and how you face each day. So be conscious of what you say to and about yourself!

No one is perfect. Even the most confident people have insecurities. At some point in our life, we do feel we lack certain things. That, however, is just how things always will be. So, when insecurity knocks from time to time invite it in for a cup of coffee, talk with it and understand it. Don't let it ever overpower you.

Expectations are like fine pottery. The harder you hold on to them, The more likely they are to crack. Let no expectations thus be the primary goal of your activities. Do not let them burden you. Rather, use them as the proof of peoples' belief in you and let them motivate you.

You might carry the accumulation of years in your body and on your face, but you can stay young at heart and not let the years weigh on your spirit. In fact, you must never let the "young" in your spirit die. As Douglas Macarthur said, "You are as young as your faith and as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence and as old as your fear; as young as your hope and as old as your despair.

At the end of 2021, we are all gearing up to make new promises and new beginnings for 2022. It is, however, important to start a new year with tons of positivity, good energy and good vibes and to embrace this new beginning with an open heart and move forward with hope, faith and courage.
