Elena interviews Wayne for The Flint Voice. Tammy suspects that Wayne is having an affair with her sister, Joy. Gordon buys a gun. Tammy and Elena discuss Ferraro’s election prospects while target shooting. A man, looking for Bud, comes into .45 & Dime and threatens Wayne.

Wayne and Bud open .45 & Dime, a store that sells books, records, and guns. Elena reveals to her brother Skip that she’s a time-traveler from the future and is here to try to prevent the murder of their father. Tammy catches Wayne out with her sister, Joy, at a Coney Island.

Wayne Collins was murdered in the parking lot of Buick City on the night of Reagan’s 1984 re-election. His daughter, Elena, time-travels from 2018 to find and stop the murderer.
