Welcome to the live interview with Caregiver Wish Recipient of Norfolk, Nebraska Ms. Sharon Peter! Sharon has been a Caregiver for 41 years. Her special needs son Jim Legate is now 41 years old and was born without a thyroid. His developmental abilities are that of a five year old, but because of his mother Sharon's dedication and sacrifice for his care, he lives a strong, happy and healthy life! A Caretaker's Wish was contacted and we went into action. Through efforts of the community and volunteers in Nebraska, A Caretaker's Wish was able to raise $2,000.00 for Sharon to help with repairs in her home and to be sure Sharon was able to pamper herself! Listen to Sharon as she talks about being a Caregiver and the impact of this event on her life! Thank you to everyone who made this wish happen!
