Core Demonstration is a Portland-based hip hop group. Their music catalog contains a wide-array of styles ranging from the lo-fi, esoteric, G-Funk, and Hyphy. King Shampz is an emcee from West Philly. Along with his brother, and producer, Azzan, Shampz founded Dead Wrong Records. The label is filled with other talented artists who share a similar aesthetic with Shampz--a gritty sample-based sound with extensive wordplay and reflective braggadocio lyrics. Reflections

Jabee is a rapper from Oklahoma City with a story to tell. Armed with memories of his own experiences filtered through the lens of books by the likes of Huey Newton, Assata Shakur, and Kurt Vonnegut, Jabee's album, "Black Future," is full of socially conscious and introspective songs that bang, a rarity in present day Hip-Hop. He acknowledges the past and the present, but as the album's title suggests, Jabee looks towards the future and inspires the listener to get active and create the desired outcome for oneself and one's community.
