The Temple of God   Dave Mueller will be leading our CUC Class this Sunday with the second part part of a series. The title he’ll use is “The Temple of God”. The scripture will be   Verse:  1 Cor. 6: 19-20. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own: you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

Jesus the Man of Sorrows Dr. Jim McCormick has our CUC lesson Sunday. We are delighted to have him back! Back in March he started our Lenten Series, then the pandemic hit. He still had three lessons to present and will cover the last of them this week. This Sunday he will present “Jesus, the Man of Sorrows". The scripture is Isaiah 53:3-5 3.  He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. 4. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
