To wrap up the year, we're looking at the value of worship and how we're transformed through orienting our lives around Jesus. This month we were joined by Fiona from City Life Church Luton.

Transformation - Worship

Rest is woven into the fabric of creation. It's there right at the beginning. It gets as much real estate in Genesis 1 as the creation of light and darkness. It's a big deal (Genesis 1)

This academic year we’re taking a closer look at our values as a community. There are clearly many things that we value as individuals and a church, but for clarity we’ve landed on 3 core values that we’re digging into over the whole year. Last term we were looking at ‘relationships,’ how we relate to each other. This term we’re looking at the value of ‘engagement’.

Focus

This month we're taking a look at another aspect of 'relationships' - builing up. How do we journey with each other and create a culture of encouragement and love, actively looking to build each other up.

Building Up

This month we're taking a look at the value of equailty. Realising we are all equal forms the foundation for loving each other and those around us. Esther kicks the month off with her thoughts on the topic.

Equality

We’re on an exciting journey this year as we start to really unpack our values as a community. We’re looking at the biblical basis for relationships, engagement and transformation. Why we believe these are Kingdom values and what that means for how we treat each other, love the city and commune with God.

Commitment

One of the most obvious, practical differences between us and normal churches is the way that we choose to structure our weekend gatherings.

City Life Church is a young church in Exeter. We're all about people and introducing them to Jesus. We also love food. This is where you'll find everything audio. A mixture of talks, interviews and larking around.
