After working in the creative industry and participating in a challenge with her son, Thersa started her company, The Create Kit. There’s so much greatness that can come from honing in on the things that bring you joy. In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Alicia Harrison, founder of Crafts of a Different Shade. We touched on so many important topics in this episode around giving yourself grace, finding peace and taking time to rest. Alicia shared how she got started in crafting and how creativity has helped her to cultivate greater confidence. 067: Finding Peace Within Crafting With Alicia Harrison

Do you hold yourself to a high standard that isn’t always attainable? A lot of creatives find themselves doing this and it can set us up to be really hard on ourselves when we don’t meet those expectations. In this episode, I was joined by painter and author Tracy Verdugo. We talked about setting realistic expectations for ourselves and our creative projects. I’m happy to be sharing today’s very important conversation with scrapbooker, Victoria Calvin. This conversation was an important one as we touched on the very critical matters of representation, inclusion and equality.
