The Sheepsquatch is a cryptid mostly reported in West Virginia. Similar to bigfoot, the elusive beast is heard of mostly in tall tales, but there are several accounts of people having encounters with the creature. The monster has been witnessed in Mason and Boone counties of West Virginia and in parts of Virginia.

It would be 8 years before anyone would be brought to justice for these crimes. The horrific randomness of the murders shocked a small community after seeing similar events take place in various places around the nation.
