Pair this with a physical space called the Mini-mart which he and his partner founded, and you will find a launchpad and community which not only fosters ideas, but encourages collaboration, connection and safety to explore and create all the shit that our beautiful minds can imagine.Pablo first popped up on my radar as with most connections, a mutual friend who also believed in what Pablo was doing. You'll find quickly in life that when you act selflessly you will find people that will buy into the cause and will want to help you along the way. In this instance, our friend approached me after attending one of the Mini-mart's events, which showcased local artists and craftspeople, and was blown away with the conversations and connections he made on the night.It is rare at the moment to have a physical space dedicated to such connection. I had seen the beautiful work she and her team had done. I had seen the way she had spoken to clients, asked the right questions, and then told them their brand's story back to them in such an elegant and intimate way, almost better than they knew it themselves.And I think this is the power we have as creatives, to absorb what is around us, combine it with what is inside us, and then have that speak to the world.Creative design, and art direction, is such a subjective medium. People always have an opinion, and if everyone likes your stuff you’re probably doing it wrong. So I was super interested in talking to Lyndal about it.Because like I said, she knows what she is doing. And she’s been doing it for a long time. But more importantly, she has done so by being what I what call genuinely lovely.She would never go out there to “crush it” or “hustle” but man, she crushes it, and has hustled her face off to build her own business that is well known and respected. When you google him, you'll look up Soren Trampendach and find details of a truly well-traveled man. A thought-leader, speaker, innovator and visionary, who has proven he can execute big goals and new ideas.When you meet him in person, you'll just look up. This towering Viking warrior carries himself in a way I have so much respect for. He walks with confidence, but not arrogance, and despite his intimating frame he has an incredibly disarming and warm nature. He is willing to show vulnerability, and is wonderfully self-aware of his own values. You can tell he backs himself, while also keeping an open mind.I wanted to introduce Soren to you for several reasons. Yes, he is the creative founder and designer of Workclub, where we produce our show from, and in which I am a member. I admire the space and the philosophy of the business, so there's that.More importantly though it was because Soren exudes passion, equally for the grand vision as he does the finest detail. And I've found this to be rare.As a visionary leader, he seems to be a continuous student of learning, remaining agile and open to pivoting at a moments notice, making adaptability one of his most valued qualities in his team. You can tell in the way he observes the world, and speaks openly of his own interpretation of it.Then there's the love of details.As a creative, when Soren took me through Workclub for the first time, I was blown away by his love for every little piece of furniture and design. So intentful. So purposeful. Every chair had a story, every light had a history, every artwork had a meaning. Every stitch of every fabric was described to me like a mother describing their child, with genuine all-knowing love. And my favourite part, this is only a fraction of what Soren has created at Workclub. His proudest accomplishment is the flexible eco-system he has created for the members and businesses with the space. It's about defining and creating the future of work. Hell, it is the future of work. So we chat about what that means, what hardships he had to go through along the way, and how being flexible with your outcome vision, but not your values, is what's going to get you on the path to success.Welcome to DISMANTLE.

The Modern Renaissance - ft. Soren Trampedach - DSMTL.05

When I first saw Matthew's art I instantly fell in love with it.When I think about why, I believe I fee in love with its contrast.It was dark, yet colourful and bright.It seemed futuristic, yet with a primitive tribal feel.It appeared as if from a nightmare, yet it made me immediately smile.It was obvious that this work was highly personal, and not something anyone could replicate.And then I met the man himself, and the contrast continued. Because the creator of this terrifying screaming demon image on canvas, is one of the most chill, laid back, and disarming people I have met. His art is confronting, but he is such a welcoming and generous soul. Matthew makes you feel within the first few minutes of meeting him that you have been friends for years.Which is why I find him so interesting.In this episode we find out about where this depicted darkness comes from. Self-awareness and Setting Massive Goals - ft. Daniel Sabouné DSMTL.03

Challenge the norm. Get out of your comfort zone. Do shit that scares you.Danielle is a thinker, a dreamer, an abstract artist who thinks abstract things.She is also one of my favourite human beings.She has built an incredible brand through Instagram, which is where she gets most her business.She makes connections, and builds relationships by putting herself out there. She sells her art in an incredibly saturated market and produces work that cuts through.And she’s been successful at all those things.But its not why I love her. I love her because Danielle is a headcase. She’s nuts. Her mind is all over the place. Her concepts are ever-evolving, ever-present, ever-changing. She goes off on tangents. You can see she gets lost in her mind a lot. Can you relate to that? I know I can.She is also full of self-doubt. She plays over and over again every scenario in her mind. She very acutely senses peoples bullshit, but somehow attracts a lot of it. She lives life with passion, with energy, with emotional, and manages to use all of this to create beautiful things people put on their walls and admire for years. And through it all, I truly believe she just wants to make you feel something. Enjoy.

Imagine you grew up in a photography studio run by your father, who was constantly telling you being a photographer was a dying career. But you did it anyway.What would you learn from starting a game-changing creative agency focused so much on the art form and developing a stable of young photographers, that the business side of things crashes and implodes the company? What becomes the reaction when you speak freely about the model-photographer relationship within the fashion industry, and about a culture that often turns a blind eye to harassment. These are the reason I wanted to interview Oliver Minnett. He is an experienced and accomplished photographer, who is still working on improving his skills every day.I also know he struggles with things. With how people treat each other. With how he treats himself. He is someone like us. Someone who wants to create and share with the world a beauty he wants others to experience. But there is darkness there too. Something that before this interview we never really talked about, but I saw. There was self-doubt. Lack of confidence. Social anxiety. A bit of anger. Loneliness. That's why this show is for people like us. Because we all feel that at some time, but need to find ways to keep pushing toward an often unrecognisable dream that few understand. For myself, this was also our very first podcast and interview in this series. I was a mix of terrified and excited. My awesome crew, Christian and Ryan, are absolute pro's but were also problem-solving on the fly.I went into this wanting to help Oliver tell his story, and communicate the points I feel would help you as the listener. It's a slow start, I admit it.
