Soaking Prayer, Volume 1

As Michael and SJ wrap up the series on Transformation, they delve into The Message version of the Bible to further explore the phases of transformation. Romans 8 is a great summary of this process; Jesus became like us, so we can become like Him. When we unpack Romans 8:30, we discover: Awaken - God calls us by name. Deepen - God sets us on a solid basis with Himself until we are established. Fulfill - God stays with us to the end, gloriously completing what He has begun. Forgiveness takes us thru the gate unlocked by Jesus. He then invites us to the road of Restoration where Transformation takes place. Transformation - Part 5

In this fourth episode of the Transformation series, Michael and SJ discuss the transition from "Deepen" to "Fulfill." A ceremony often accompanies the fulfillment phase such as a graduation. The Apostle Paul declared to his spiritual son Timothy, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." These words signaled the "Fulfillment" of the Transformation that God started in Paul when he was "Awakened" on the road to Damascus.  Jesus invites us to live a new way, to transform, and to walk the road to freedom. Transformation - Part 4

In this third part of the series on Transformation, Michael and SJ discuss the continuation from the “awaken” to the “deepen” phase. When Jesus spent three years with the disciples, they were awakening to the revelations that Jesus shared with them. In the book of Acts, we start to see the transition from awakening to deepening in their faith and walk with the Lord. In the process of deepening there is a transition from awareness to ownership, from novice to intermediate, from salvation to sanctification.
