Out of the billions of people who have died over the last 2000 years, we trust in the past payment of ONE Who became a shamed sacrifice to give us a future hope.

Followers of Jesus are called to swim against the flow, living different than our Christ-less culture. After all, if there's no difference, we won't make one.

Those who claim Christ should be pursuing peace with people and living in the holiness that Jesus has given us, all the while looking forward to the eternal hope that awaits us. Today we discover how our eternal hope should impact our everyday living.

21: Peace & Holiness

Good parents discipline their children, correcting disobedience and training them to make wise decisions in the future. So too, God disciplines His children to know and grow in holiness, for this life and the life to come.

20: Disciplined Children (Hebrews 12:3-11)

Runners are discouraged from watching those running beside them. Instead, they are taught to keep their eyes on the Prize - the finish line. Today we are challenged to do the same.

19: Eyes on the PRIZE (Hebrews 11:32-12:2)

Good parents are gracious to forgive when their children humble themselves, admit their disobedience, and ask for mercy. Today we discover ancient accounts that point us to our graciousness of Heavenly Father, who is willing and wanting to forgive those who turn to Him.

When’s the last time you obeyed God and did what was difficult instead of cowering to do what was comfortable? Today we are reminded how Old Testament titans of the faith trusted God with the future they couldn’t see and consider how we can follow in their steps.

Living by faith implies that we must do something most of us don’t want to do...WAIT. Living by faith means pushing away from temporary satisfaction of sin, in favor of WAITING for the eternal benefits of obeying our Savior.
