As a financial nut, I want you to know a little bit about me.  First I am an ordinary person just like you.  I have wants and needs, I have a family with wants and needs.  So I decided I had to change things so that I can have the things I wanted and needed.  The result is passive income, money from the money I already make.   I started Off as a dividend investor slow, boring but powerful. I moved on to become an investor, not a guru but I can keep up with the best of them.  I just operate on a smaller footprint. As a financial nut, Why would I say Burial Insurance yourself?  Well, You know how much funerals and cremations cost if you don't you should find out. In the area I'm in, it cost from $3,000 on up now I can buy a $50,000 policy and spend a few hundred every month, on the policy.  Well if you do the math 1 year is $2,400 2 years is $4,800 so with that 2 years you can pay for a cremation. In 4 years you can pay for a funeral. in 10 years you can pay for both and leave $10000 for your loved ones.  I hope you see the picture, and that is without any interest or dividends, or growth.
