The one and only fan-made Melbourne Victory podcast returns for season 2021/22 with a bang. We're joined by new Melbourne Victory signing, goalkeeper Ivan Kelava. We speak to Ivan about his career in Europe and his hopes for his time in Melbourne.

Plus, the pair catch up with "rebel" shareholder Richard Wilson again for an update on the sale of the shares to fans, and a chat about the management of the club and what needs to change.

Amidst record low attendances and waning interest among the Vuck fanbase, Dave is joined by returning guest and Melbourne Victory co-founder Tony Ising for a 'State of the Club' - and indeed 'State of the Game' - address. Dave reviews the unintentional comedy of the draw with CCM, and Tony outlines how the game ended up here, from Frank Lowy's demise to the Covid pandemic. Inevitably, the pair are drawn into an extended discussion on Australian football's favourite slanging match: promotion and relegation. Plus, there's Steve Kean's row with Popa, the return of the FVS confessional, and a preview of Victory's first encounter with Macarthur.

Is Popa-ball as boring as its reputation suggests? Will he be given carte blanche to clean out the dead wood? And do his sons come as part of the package? After a cumulative 13-0 defeat across two Melbourne derbies this season, Dave and Buds pick through the wreckage of the Grant Brebner era, and the condescending, insulting press conference he was forced to sit through while the head fruiterer announced his "removal". What on earth is going on at this club? And what should fans do to voice their anger? Thankfully, the Victory women have given us something to celebrate since the last pod.
