There is a verse in the New Testament that is very challenging for us today. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." John 14:12 Jesus is giving to us a deep, theological principle about His disciples, those who believe in Him. He is saying is that those who truly believe in Him should be doing the same works He did, and even greater works than He did. This verse should lead us to ask ourselves, "If I believe in Jesus, am I doing the same works Jesus did and greater works than He did?" We have to remember that Jesus wasn't talking to theologians and religious leaders of His day, He was talking to fishermen, tax collectors, housewives, and other ordinary people like you and me. How to Live Like a Royal Child of God

Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 God wants to take those painful experiences and make them stepping stones to the blessed life and victorious living. We live in a world where there is great brokenness, and the powers of darkness like to seize these moments. They do this to convince you that you are a victim in order to build a stronghold in you of victimization so that you live out of that identity. If the enemy succeeds in building a stronghold in your thinking, it will become a gateway to build more strongholds to torment you in your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. We all experience painful experiences in life because we live in a fallen world; and the enemy wants to use those painful experiences to steal, kill and destroy. The key to consistently being victorious in painful moments has to do with learning to walk with Holy Spirit and learning to fellowship with Holy Spirit in a deep personal way. How to Stop Living in Victimization

Jesus said, "Truly, truly I say unto you unless a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of heaven." Jesus called it being born again. Titus called it the washing and renewing of the Holy Spirit that makes us a whole new creation. Salvation gives us a whole new life source so that we can begin living all things new. But if we're going to go forward in that and consistently live all things new as a disciple of Jesus Christ, there are things that Scripture clearly says need to happen in our lives. It doesn't just happen all on it's own. We have to cooperate with the work of God in our life so that we are consistently moving forward. It's not about how fast you move forward, its how consistently you move forward. This is How God Makes All Things New In You

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you." John 14:15-20 Do we shut up the kingdom of God to the general population? Jesus never did that. He rebuked the religious rulers, but welcomed in the most ordinary people and those who the religious rulers thought were the worst of sinners. When we protest by holding up our Christian signs, the majority of people don't get it. They don't know what we're talking about. They think we're being religious snobs and hypocrites, and that we're shutting up the kingdom of God to them and that we hate sinners. Do we shut up the kingdom of God to the general population? Do You Really Know Who You Are in Jesus Christ?

From the very first prophecies about the birth of Christ, there is a consistent dual prophecy about both the present and eternal. Isaiah 9:6-7For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. There will be a baby born who will be born on the throne of King David here on earth, but he will not only be  "Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace", but he is going to be over a kingdom forever. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. There is this connection of the present and the eternal. Jesus made it very clear in the gospels that the kingdom of God is within the hearts of men and women in this present time on earth. However, in living that, the disciple of Jesus Christ understands that there is this constant perspective of the eternal kingdom; that life here is temporal, only for a season, because we have the hope of eternal life with Jesus Christ in the eternal kingdom. And that is what today's podcast is all about. God gave us this gift of dualism: the tension between the present and the eternal, that tension that will help us to grow spiritually. ************************************* ? The Gift of the Present and Eternity

An Interview About My New Book Willing

The Unexpected Gift of Jesus

What should the Church do in a time of great delusion, when Government, media, and seemingly all around her truth is being purposely distorted and put out as fact? This is not a time for the Church cocoon and hunker down in her four walls until Jesus returns. The Authority of a Disciple of Jesus Christ

There are way too many of God's children trying to fight spiritual warfare with a Q-Tip. They don't have the Word of God in their heart. The Bible sits on their bookshelf all week long. Recent surveys show that 75% of those who claim to be Christians, who go to church regularly, never open their Bible from Sunday to Sunday. But it is the Word of God that is our sword. How to Use the Sword of the Spirit

There are Christians who have trouble in their walk with God because they are not sheltered. They are an open target for the enemy's attacks. Remember Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.' He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; (vs 1, 2, 4)" They don't have protection over them and they wonder why they are facing attack all of the time. They are lacking the shield over them. The shield of faith. And that is what I am talking about in today's podcast. How to Use the Shield of Faith

God wants men and women to know that Jesus is in their midst. He is right here with you right now. Worship and other things may help you grow more aware of His presence with you, but the question is: Is Jesus in your midst, and if He is, do you only have a form of godliness, or do you have Jesus in your midst? And how will people know? Would they accuse you of being a Jesus follower? Is there enough evidence to accuse you of following Jesus and what would they present? How the Breastplate of Righteousness Defeats Fear

In Ephesians 6:10-18, we are given the armor of God, the clothes that every Christian should wear if he or she wishes to walk in continual victory over the enemy. The first piece of armor we're told to put on is the belt of truth. On Roman armor, the belt is what held everything together. It is also what held the sword. The sword of the Spirit - the Word of God Jesus said that if we are His disciples, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free. Truth (the Word of God is the final truth) is what makes us free! So, I have a question for you. Are you wearing the right clothes to go into this spiritual battle we're in right now? If you're not wearing the right clothes, you will be caught unprepared to fight the way we need to fight in the ever-increasing heat of persecution that is coming our way.
