100th Podcast! D-Day/ WWII Veteran Bill Pekrul. Bill was on the 2nd Wave of the Normandy Beach invasion. He landed on Omaha Beach Dog Red. Bill fought in 4 different countries during tour, including Battle of The Bulge. He encountered Nazi Work Camps with Jews and other prisoners. Bill was awarded 2 bronze stars and a silver star amongst other commendations and foreign awards. Bill will be 96 years old in December. This episode will be available August 2nd. Massive thanks to War Memorial Center for letting use the space and introducing me to Bill.
