For every loss, do we change inside, does something essential become affected, or do we still have the same capability to feel joy for life without these people? Our "normal" assumption is that someone else will come along and we will be happy again, but is that true? Can we feel the same amount of joy for life, to be alive, with separation happening? Suicide is like a minority, a discriminated cause of death. We've learned that it's all us priviledged people who need to stand up for black lives and fight racism, and it's the same with mental health. To fight for your life when you are struggling, instead of getting the support from a helping hand is different. Just like the one's who's never been discriminated must take action, the ones who've never suffered from mental illness must take action. It's not ok to say it doesn't concern me because I don't suffer from it.
