This time the boys have got the cameras working so they can actually see each other during recording; Rob poses a question from his Dodsworth family quiz and has also been having Milk dreams whilst Tim’s partner Abbie has been having altogether scarier dreams which include Eastenders characters. Scream 5 is in the news recently and are they bringing Stu from the original back to Woodboro? We talk about this possibility and why they didn’t do this story in Scream 3 as planned. Tim has watched Videodrome from 1983 and Rob introduces his daughter to The Blair Witch Project and what are the best opening sequences to a horror movie ever. Rob has started watching The Office U.S and Future Man which are both on Amazon Prime here in the UK, Tim starts watching Chuck and we talk about the Netflix edition of Back To The Future II (which should be now back to normal). In the news Rob has details of a dating site that Marco might be interested in for the smaller gentleman and a man in China has lost a chop stick inside himself. Episode 69 - Widescreen Edition

During lockdown the guys are using the internet to record and have a catch up with how things are going. Rob has an unfortunate incident that would rock any couch potatoes world, we remember the old portable handheld televisions, Rob is missing Marco and Tim is trying to keep his son entertained and the Couch to 5k app. We discuss clapping for the NHS and the other ways to show our appreciation, people who sing in the street for our pleasure, Schwarzenegger in quarantine is Twitter gold, Rob’s worried that he’s going to get hit by golf balls during lockdown. Tim has watches Tales From The Loop, Jojo Rabbit and Signs; Rob watches I Am Not Okay With This and Raising Dion which are both on Netflix and also watched The Crow with Brandon Lee for the first time. All of this and so much more but unfortunately we were unable to do our beat the intro quiz as usual, as soon as things are back to normal we’ll be able to play again.

Episode 68 - Didgeridoo For The NHS

This week Tim and Rob decide they need to do a warm up quiz so we play the A-Z game with 60 seconds on the clock, Tim gets Movie Titles and Rob gets Band Names, you can join in at home and tell us how well you did. Both guys have had a kids birthday to endure whilst Rob has to start his diet again plus his graphics card died and went through the trauma of fixing that whilst scrolling through the forums. Tim has nearly finished his X-Files binge, Rob watches October Faction on Netflix and has issues with the ages of the cast, we recommend The Morning Show starring Jennifer Anniston and discuss how difficult it must be for the cast of Friends to shake off those characters as well as the reunion rumours. Our movie chat this week is all about Bird On A Wire starring Mel and Goldie then we discuss Robocop 2, does it get treated fairly in reviews? In the news we hear how you can have a burial for your pre-loved sex doll in Japan and even come away with a keep sake and Rob rages when he finds out that Battersea Dogs and Cats home is having birthday parties for cats! Episode 67 - The Springfield Tyre Fire

This week we talk about Bille Eilish’s Bond theme ‘No Time to Die’, Tim has been back to the dentist to have his tooth pulled but we think it’s a common misconception that all British teeth are knackered. Rob has to take part in a national survey so has a strange man turn up at his house and Tim gets a knock on his door after 8:30pm too (so late), Rob gets offended by Facebook, we come up with the chewable tea bag idea, Roger Federer is a bit camp and the Stranger Things 4 teaser trailer. Both guys finish watching The Stranger on Netflix then go and watch Fleabag on BBC iPlayer (is there something subliminal going on?) which has the C word in the first episode and has that word lost it’s edge a little? Rob watches Knives Out starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Daniel Craig and the long lost Don Johnson, he also watched 21 Bridges starring Chadwick Boseman and Sienna Miller. In the news two guys have a black substance leaking from upstairs, but what could it be? We also hear how a woman in Kazakhstan got into some difficulty when she took a shortcut home from the shops. Episode 66 - Would Doesn't Love a Good Roger?

This week we talk about death hoaxes as someone reported that popular UK childrens TV star Mr Tumble has died when he’s very much alive, who else has been falsely reported dead and why do they do this? We talk about CBeebies (BBC) bedtime routine for kids, Australian kids band ‘The Wiggles’ nearly lose a member, we talk about how hardcore Ross Kemp is and how could you finish a long running TV soap?  Rob asks Tim to check if he’s going bald as people have been passing comment and Tim watches The Stranger on Netflix and we imagine a sequel to Flight of the Navigator. Rob talks about Doctor Sleep starring Ewan McGregor which is another Stephen King adaptation and then watches Countdown, a horror about an app that tells you when you’re going to die, but are they any good? In the news a man gives his daughter a teething toy then realises it looks like something else and there is a punch-up at a carvery gravy station in Wales. As always, we end the show with our beat the intro quiz which Rob has produced but this week all the artists have a link! If you can figure out what links them you can have an extra 10 points.

Episode 65 - Can You Smell Beef?

This week Tim has been to the dentist in some kind of role reversal with Rob and Tim tells us of a time he had laughing gas in the 80’s, Rob has been struggling with his wheelie bins and Tim has dealings with the local Rag ‘n’ Bone man; we also talk about the Louise vs Peppa Pig court case and the similarities involving her song ‘Naked’ and Peppa Pigs Party, do they sound the same? Hear the news that Lethal Weapon 5 is definitely on the make with the duo on board for another outing, Tim watched Zombieland 2: Double Tap, Rob discovers 8-Bit Def Leppard songs on streaming services and a lullaby version of Pour Some Sugar On Me. Movies we speak about this week are The Lighthouse by Robert Eggers and the 80’s movie The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension whilst Tim has watched the first episode of Picard. In the news we have a warning to men about using banana skins for alone sexy time, a man sees a Cheetah in the road in West Yorkshire (our neck of the woods) and the worlds worst cat in North Dakota. Episode 64 - Sax Heavy

This week we hear how Rob has broken his toe, Tim’s missus is probably having an affair and Marco has to pick up 10000 little rocks during the show due to a little accident just before hitting the record button. We discuss Hank Azaria who has decided to step down as the voice of Apu in The Simpsons and who could take over, we find out that just a fart machine can lighten up the Snooker finals but we miss the days of streakers at sports events and Tom Jones has knickers thrown at him on stage. Rob has watched the new Netflix documentary ‘Don’t F**k With Cats’, we watch ‘Sex Education’ also on Netflix and Rob has got round to watching John Wick Chapter 3, will there be another Matrix movie and the problem with the first season of ‘24’ (no spoilers). In the news we learn that a man can legally challenge his wife to a sword duel during a divorce, a man wakes up to an intruder sucking his toes and a woman gets arrested with drugs in her hair. Episode 63 - Butter & Sugar

This week we find out that Marco hasn’t opened his Christmas present yet and he’s been spending Tim’s money on Goop’s brand new vagina scented candles, Tim tells us he’s got a “family car” for more room in the back seat and he’s been to see the dentist again. Rob went to the local Pantomime with the family and ends up participating more than he wanted to and he’s been using the Letterboxd app for a whole year and they’ve sent him some stats. Tim has seen Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker and gives us his views without spoilers (because Rob hasn’t seen it yet) and Rob has been watching the UK version of The Masked Singer on ITV. In the news a man has to have something removed from his backside in China, we bring details of the latest craze of Perineum sunning and a man dresses up as his mother in Brazil. Episode 62 - The Last Chuckle

This week Rob is sick of his son coming into his bed during the night so decides to set up a camera in his room to see if anything is waking him up in the night, Tim has watched all the Nightmare on Elm Street films over Halloween and wants to start on Friday the 13th franchise too then tells us about his new research project. Rob tells us how he managed to lose his dog in the park and has Marco got himself a dog? Rob also wants to show Tim his new Batman socks and thinks someone may have made a huge error during the design (check our Instagram and Twitter accounts to see the pics). Our film chat this week is all about Terminator Dark Fate (no spoilers so you’re safe if you haven’t seen it yet), T3, Salvation and a little Genisys thrown in for good measure. The news includes a boy who does things with magnetic balls, a man who had a good time with some tweezers and Apple have turned a Russian man gay and he isn’t having any of it. Episode 61 - Fish Mouth

This week Rob has been for an audition for the actual BBC, but has he had any success? We talk about a story that we may be getting from a listener about starring in a porn movie and Tim talks about his wife’s new, very expensive perfume and he’s not impressed. We discuss the news that Snickers have gone back to using the name Marathon for a limited time only, Rob discovers that Tim may have been part of some strange “Friend Transfer” when he was just a kid and our good podcasting friend Toffa of The Master Debaters podcast has provided us with an anecdote/listener story that should make us laugh! Tim has finally got around to watching Upgrade, re-watches The Hunt For Red October which we think was the first outing for Jack Ryan; Rob watches Creepshow on Shudder, American Horror Story 1984 and is struggling to get through season 4 of Preacher and blitz’s 13 Reasons Why season 3. In the news this week we tell you of an Uber Eats driver that makes an unscheduled delivery of his own and the Holey Poke game goes on sale in PoundLand for that extra special Christmas Gift.   To finish this episode we bring our Beat The Intro quiz as usual BUT.. this week we have TV themes instead!

Episode 60 - Trapdoor Auditions

This week we remember the corner shop having a VHS rental section, Rob has a parking dilemma when going to the Mobility shop and has Tim had another ghostly encounter? We find out that Honey isn’t allowed to be eaten by Vegans because it comes from a Bee.. and we’re confused, Tim is ready to talk about his addiction to After Eight chocolates, Rob watches Stakeout starring Richard Dreyfuss and Emilio Estevez then Tim gives us his verdict on Brightburn. Our listener story this week is told by Mark ‘Fevois’ Feathers who’s been up to no good with his company laptop. Episode 59 - Top Shelf Stuff

We chose to record this episode on Friday 13th and suggest that it be called National Jason Vorhees Day from now on, also Rob’s Alexa gets filthy with her fact of the day and we talk about Kevin Hart. Tim has been celebrating his birthday this week and we find out that he is the IT department for the whole street and especially comes to the rescue of Elaine, the 80 year old from across the road. We have been provided with a listener story this week which is part two of a previous tale told by Anita of The Unexceptionals Podcast (which actually is pretty exceptional, so subscribe to that now!), Tim remembers when we rushed to the vet with a dying dog and Rob’s mum gets Tim’s name wrong and calls him Jim. Rob has been watching A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge from 1985 and comments on an actor who is like a fake Meryl Streep, also some of the great lines from the movie. In the news a man gets assaulted by someone with a padlock, a tradesman gets caught in a belt sander at work and ‘Thumb Boy’ who has an abnormally long thumb has shot to internet fame. Episode 58 - Real Men Wear Jeans

This week Rob’s dog has an unfortunate stress related accident, Tim’s been to see a man who he hopes was a doctor for a prostate examination and a dentist sets fire to something in Rob’s mouth! The Great British Bake Off is back on Channel 4 here in the UK but don’t try and watch it using on-demand services, Tim watches a YouTube video about Benny Hill whilst in the bath, Rob’s wife may have a Minecraft addiction and we try to make a playlist for Marco and stumble on Housework Hits on Amazon Music. Rob has watched Runaway from 1984 starring Tom Selleck and thinks his moustache could have been a hindrance to his career and Tim talks about a Flight of the Navigator reboot. In the news we tell you of a woman who went to the doctors and was found to have a venomous spider in her ear, then to finish, Uncle Tim has brought our weekly Beat The Intro pop quiz.

Episode 57 - Straight Out Of A Pork Pie

This week Tim’s been cleaning his toilet without the help of Marco, Rob’s been to the dentist and doesn’t like what he’s hearing, we talk about men going shirtless during the heatwave and ask would you rather have a hot face but a battered body? Rob re-watches Broken Arrow from 1996 starring John Travolta and then watches the new Disney offering Mary Poppins Returns. Our listener story comes from Bobby Meek from the south who has a tale about his giant friend that used to come and visit sometimes which had disastrous consequences. In the news to talk of more balcony sex accidents and a gentleman throws a lifeless bird at his opponent during an altercation. This week Tim has had Crazy Trev around to some handy work and we talk about frosted glass in bathrooms, Rob’s been to Scotland and has a drug fuelled daughter to deal with and a son with no shoes and hates going swimming in the on site pool. Tim’s been watching GLOW on Netflix and has watched a few films from the Alien saga and talks a little about the coming projects, Rob watched A Dogs Journey on holiday and also watches Brightburn. This weeks listener story is provided by Anita of The Unexceptionals podcast (listen to them, they're great) who goes back to the time they had a party to celebrate the end of school that didn’t go according to plan, this brings us to discuss the bases in relationships and how they work and also Tim’s recent visit to the doctors. In the news we hear how a man castrated another man he met online whilst on a date and a gentleman who has serious anger issues when he hears certain noises. Our Beat The Intro quiz this week was recorded a few days later due to a technical hitch so we recorded this part at Rob’s house and we had the opportunity to have Rob’s wife Andrea make her podcast debut whilst Tim and his partner Abbie are on the phone taking part too (it’s chaos!).
