Golf is and will always be among the most popular sports in the world with many major tournaments held annually, but none compare to The Masters. The 2018 Masters Tournament was particularly exciting as evidenced by the 18% jump over last year’s ratings - the main reason for that is due to the return of Tiger Woods. He may not have won, but the fact that someone who was considered to have “fallen from grace” last year returned to the sport at all is worth celebrating. In this episode, Lindsay and Whitney share their takeaways from this year’s Masters Tournament. Not only did they react to the wins and losses, but they also provide their opinions regarding some of the more obvious social issues being displayed on live TV. Masters Recap and 'Paterno' Review

How’s your bracket so far? Well, the girls’ brackets are a certified mess after what happened over the weekend. It’s crazy to think that on the one hand, it’s exciting to see underdogs like Loyola rising against top caliber teams, and on the other your supposed “final four” team has been more or less disappointing this season. Even the girls’ brackets weren’t safe from the onslaught of upsets. But, upsets are nothing to be upset about! What’s great about upsets is how it really brings back the unpredictability of sports, and it shows even the most reliable sports data is prone to error. We are back, and we’re really into the Winter Olympics this year. It may be cold in Pyeongchang, but the hype is pretty hot! From the funny frozen faces of the ice skating competition to the high-risk nature of bobsledding, this year’s Winter Olympics surpassed our expectations. It’s just amazing what athletes can do in the snow, especially when you know how difficult it is to master a sport on dry land. In this episode, we discuss a lot about the happenings in this year’s Winter Olympics, from the amazing stunts and athletes all the way to the drama and stories both on the venue and on social media. Sports isn’t all fun and games after all, so why should the Olympics be any different? Olympics Glory!!

The Super Bowl is over, and the Philadelphia Eagles won over the New England Patriots despite having the odds stacked against them. The crowd favorite was always the team with the dynasty, but the Eagles made sure they put a stop to it. The game itself had so many offensive plays, with both teams trying to outscore the other, but the lack of defense from the Patriots caused their downfall. Despite our comments on the Super Bowl having a weak momentum this year, we are happy to say it ended in a spectacular fashion; a perfect way to end a great season. In this episode, we discuss some of the highlights during the Super Bowl. We put the spotlight on what made the Patriots lose, the crazy and dangerous fan celebrations in Philly, the controversial plays and substitutions, and why the Patriots losing was a good thing for the next football season. The girls are back for another year of sports, and what better way to start their first episode for 2018 than reacting to the crazy college football finals? It’s definitely the kind of game we’ve all been looking forward to, and while they did predict this victory early in the season, that’s not to take away from Georgia fans. The championship hype was all over that stadium, and Georgia fought and emerged as one of the best this season, but they just couldn’t finish. Saban and Alabama are just too good at this point. More than the college football finals, the girls also discuss the mind-blowing Saints-Vikings game that literally erupted into chaos when time ran out, why rookie Juju Schuster is our official celebration rookie of the year, and why Tom Brady is still fantastic despite being underpaid. We're Back for 2018 & the NFL Playoffs!

Weekends in college football just continue to exceed our expectations this year, and we think it’s about to get even more fun with the playoffs looming. Speaking of playoffs, we finally have our college football playoff teams, and we believe the selection is just right. There were teams that statistically had a better year that weren’t included, though. Makes you wonder how the committee decides these things. Coaching rotations are still ongoing, and we seriously can’t believe the deal Jimbo Fisher had with Texas A&M. We think it’s more egregious than what Roger Goodell has, and that’s saying something! And for the first time since the restrictions were removed, we actually think the celebrations are about to peak, what with all the crazy stuff they’ve been doing on the field.   “The committee really values wins and losses. Playoffs are Set & Jimbo Madness!

And just like that, the regular season for college football is over. So many fun matchups and much more drama both in and out of the game. The time for playoffs is almost at hand, and we’re excited to see who comes out on top this season. Before we get to that, the girls are here to go over the crazy things that happened over the past week. The coaching carousel, Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib brawling during game, upsets, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s updated bust, last week was definitely one of the most exciting weeks in sports. In this episode, we discuss the coaches who got hired, fired, and those who deserved it. Seriously, the stuff that’s happening off the field is so much more dramatic. We place our bets on which team makes the playoffs this year and the matchups we want to see. Nothing makes any sport better than having rivalries. Federer and Nadal, Pacquiao and Marquez, Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, rivalries make games more exciting and could be enough to fill an otherwise empty stadium. In the world of college football, they take rivalries to the next level with some teams being rivals for more than a hundred years! Not only that, but these teams also play for cool and sometimes really, really weird items. You wouldn’t believe the bizarre history behind these trinkets and tokens.
