This week Scott sits down with John and Mikey from Snot for an epic conversation. Snot&apos;s history is tragically short lived but their influence lives on to this day. Formed in California in 1995, the group took off quickly on the strength of their &apos;Get Some&apos; album. Tragically, it was all cut short with the untimely death of vocalist Lynn Strait in 1998. If you&apos;re a Snot fan, you&apos;ll get a lot of great details on the band in this episode. From John and Mikey&apos;s first meeting in 1994, the guys share the full history of how things developed for Snot.Snot&apos;s influences lie between punk rock and funk. Emerging out of the Midwest and finally ready to take the whole of the  US by storm, Heartsick is a band of brothers, consisting of Alfonso  Civile on vocals, Jerred Pruneau on guitar, Waylon Fox on bass and  Talmadge Jake Bryan on drums. The discussion starts with some talk about Scott&apos;s ever-growing music-related collection and how it&apos;s becoming a hall of fame of sorts. Additionally, there&apos;s some discussion of how the band went about filming videos during the Covid lockdown.Alfonso is from Puerto Rico but moved several times before his family settled in Miami. In this chat, he shares stories of his upbringing and family; including his sister&apos;s musical influence on him via rock bands of the day. Alfonso&apos;s parents were very musically diverse and that diversity helped mold his tastes. During this time, they tragically lost their drummer Matt. The story of how the band recovered and thrived is very interesting. The documentary chronicles the behind the scenes life of kid star Soliel Moon Frye. Danny&apos;s relationship with Soliel and struggles with addiction are a part of the documentary. In this discussion he tells Scott his memories of their relationship as well as how they reconnected 20 years later by chance.In this chat, Danny shares the story of his upbringing, which was a difficult one. He was brought up around a broad range of music, specifically hip hop. He talks about the drug culture that was going on behind the scenes of the hip hop world.House of Pain enjoyed a huge wave of success but just as quickly, Danny got tied up in hard drugs. In this discussion he tells Scott about the choices he made and how those choices caused things to spin out of control.After getting sober, things began to turn up personally for Danny Boy. In the first 3 years of sobriety, he began getting things in order, putting out a solo album as well as forming strong business ties. However, internally, he had stopped doing the work needed and continued to struggle. He would eventually overcome addiction and put it behind him. It&apos;s an inspiring story.The movie &apos;The Outsiders&apos; is very important to Danny. As a latchkey kid, it helped him through childhood. It had such an impact on him that he actually purchased the house from the movie and has written a book on his collection of memorabilia from the film. The Man, Anatomy of a Ghost, and The Burning Room, Dewey Halpaus found himself in need of a slower pace. He left  the road and started a family, but later discovered that he wanted to be re-immersed in the music scene he stepped away from about ten years earlier.
