Hey there! In this episode I focus on how loss can affect the heart. You'd be surprised how difficult it may be to remember that if your heart isn't right ,nothing else works. So, while finding stability always seem impossible and even painful, I use the concept of stillness to hopefully provide practical steps that can give some semblance of softness. If we lose us, then there's no one left so we might as well work very well and efficiently with what's left! Remember, the fact that you are here counts for something.it does!! Grief and your heart : Stillness

If you're going through it, then you already know how easy it is to desire that the pain gets taken away. This feeling is one I fought with for months on months, until I came to a deeper understanding of what the journey of loss was trying to lead to. I hope that whilst you're rowing your boat, you come to these truths that have helped and elevated. Happy New Year everyone!! Despite the bumps that are, we are CHOOSING to THRIVE! Yes, this year we are taking it all up and up! In this episode, I give some insight on how some parts of my journey helped to show how what strength looks like and it is my sincere hope that through this narration, you find your peace, strength and love! Grief and Thanksgiving: You're Alright

'How are you doing?' ,though well intended, is more often than not ,a trigger for spiralling. Grieving is a tough journey that requires a healthy dash of kichwa ngumu(Swahili for defiance) and self-compassion.The road is too murky and full of unexpected corners that may mean arming yourself with some inner strength too! I know I have been using these and so far,so good and I had to share them with you ! Looking back at my own, I am clear that it is possible to reclaim your life, in a healthier way and stay winning while at it!
