Average BABIP is about .300, so Shane Greene's .600+ since joining the Braves is absolutely a reflection of some bad luck and bad fielding.

He's had a long season. Jeter was born in Jersey but grew up in Michigan. He has gone on record saying he's impatiently waiting for the Marlins to be good after almost 2 years as part owner and CEO. Baker Mayfield's Lindor jersey was probably from Memorial Day, and there's some supporting evidence that MLB pockets most of the cash from sales like this. It was new reliever Chris Martin who mentioned short term memory after surrendering a walk off home run in game 1 against the Twins, but it applies to Foltynewicz as well.

That's what that sound is. MB used "prospect" in a loose, non-baseball way about Marcus Stroman. He was one of the best starting pitching options in the trade market, and it's weird that the Mets got him. Seems like that got cleared up eventually. As predicted, a number of high profile trades happened after this was recorded and before the deadline. There was 1 out left in the top of the 9th of that Pirates/Reds brawl game but a whole bottom of the 9th to play after it. The Pirates had lost 8 in a row before the... row. MB meant the 2013, World Series-winning Red Sox, not 2014. Though watching the first MLB team to finish last in one season, win the World Series the next, and finish last again the following season sounds like pretty good TV. She probs conflated 2004 and 2013.

High Sponsor: Blue Dream Inside Scoop: The Shield The Braves took the next two games off of the Phillies to win the series. Josh bell now has 81 RBI in 86 games. MB was thinking of when The Office took Jim to the Stamford branch. The Reds color guy Marty Brennaman coined ATOBTTR in his second game with the team. They were gonna put it on the stadium but the county officials wouldn't let them because technically the stadium belongs to the taxpayers. Weird!
