7 Years in Limbo: About Gordon

Richard’s story began as a child in an abusive home. He recalls this in the interview, but we will hear as he comes out of the darkness and into the light. Amy manages the Program of Olympic Penninsula Community Clinic called "Rediscovery." And she has had an impact on not only the homeless, but on the entire community. "I’m diseased because I’m homeless, and it’s judgement. People just need to quit judging the problem."As Opie talks about the kids that he has helped off the streets and recalls being the best man in a wedding ceremony for one of them, I notice he gets a bit emotional. He truly is proud of this fact and it has made a major impact on him. I can’t help but wonder if he is thinking about his own children that are with his ex-wife back in Illinois.
