After a childhood in the picturesque town of Bellingen, artist Daimon Downey was ready to take the big smoke by storm with his art. But a fortuitous session jamming at a party lead to an unexpected career, the frontman of Australian dance music group Sneaky Sound System. Safe to say not your average career diversion… a few hit songs, a couple of ARIA awards and fourteen years later, he decided to hang up the headphones and get back to his first passion, painting.Nowadays, Daimon is living in Bondi in his apartment/art studio where he has taken the art scene by storm. Jono is a self confessed 'curated maximalist' with a short attention span and a love for design.
