Growing up Trump wasn't all limos and gold toilets. Sometimes you had to deal with the realities of life... kind of. In this episode we talk about the childhood of presidential sidekick Ivanka Trump, and try to understand what it was like growing up as one of the richest kids in America. We both had terrible days leading up to recording, so we play it fast and loose and with large amounts of rose. Because honestly, after listening to the "wisdom" Ivanka touts in her "books", and realizing how completely out of touch with reality this woman is, we goshdarn needed it.

S1E10: The Slenderman Stabbing: Slender a deux

History far more frequently records what bad men do, than what bad women do. In light of of this, we cover one of the worst Nazis we could find, who also happened to be female. Irma Grese served as an SS guard at Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen. She was known as one of the most sadistic guards in the camp, for which she was hanged after the war. By diving into the twisted history of the "Beautiful Beast" of Auschwitz, we uncover that having a vagina doesn't stop you from becoming an abominable person. From a tainted childhood, to drifting aimlessly as a teenager, Irma finds her calling when she volunteers to work as a female SS guard in the concentration camp system of Nazi Germany, and there her true self is revealed.

Nixon left a legacy of deception, the foundation for the War on Drugs and caused average people in the 1970's to expect conspiracies around every corner. But how did he get there? In this episode we realize that Nixon may have not been all bad. I know you say, what is happening? Come hang out as we try to figure out our feelings over a man who was a domestic policy hot mess, a black hole of personal happiness and quite possible a closet liberal by today's standards. From his poor as dirt childhood in Whittier, CA to the White House, Nixon was above all else a workaholic. But did a misguided sense of destiny cause him to drive himself into the ground, instead of cementing a legacy he so desperately wanted, and what are the parallels to today's leadership?

Josef Mengele is most known as the brutal "Angel of Death" for the experimental studies he performed on twins during his time at Auschwitz, where he volunteered to serve as camp doctor. Here, we talk about Mengele's wealthy upbringing in a small Bavarian town, what other atrocities he committed during his time at the concentration camp and how he fled right before the Allies reached the camp and how he remained unrepentant until his death many years later. It's possible that his absentee parents, who never held him responsible contributed to creating this unspeakable monster, but could anyone have seen this coming?
