By having a conscious meltdown, you have a constructive way of feeling all the fears and all the anger, but in the end, getting grounded in your adult mindset. How to Have a Conscious Meltdown

This episode shows a conscious way to find safe harbor in the midst of storms, wherever you may be. It is an exercise in self-awareness and self-acceptance. You are Amazing with Bridget Hinman

Why I gave up on love

In today’s episode, I’m going to attempt to answer a common question: Why did God let this happen? By asking a different question: What if God doesn’t owe us anything? What if we’re here by mutual agreement with God, to have amazing and unexpected experiences? Let's figure out how to have an expanded version of Spirit, God, Higher Power, that supports each of us in all we do, have, feel, and experience.   Show Notes: Comparing traditional religion to a modern view of "godness" and spirituality. Learn a new explanation for "when bad things happen to good people." How labeling things good and bad or right and wrong can increase suffering and confusion. What it can mean to truly believe we are souls having a human experience. Several quotes in support of using difficult experiences to discover more of our true selves. So what if this Godness is more like a cheerleader than a helicopter parent, an energy who supports us humans in trying anything we want, regardless of the outcome? What if this Godness respects our humanity to the fullest and knows with 100% certainty that even if we face death, the most final act, that we all will face, that we will then return to the divine and we can incarnate and try again? What if this Godness supports our complete and total freedom to explore the depths of who we are and what we want to try? This meditation is dedicated to those dealing with loss. I realize I know nothing of your situation. I am clueless and ignorant of your struggles. And yet I his I can offer this. May you find unlimited open-minded thinking and open-hearted loving, that these things can orient you in times of futility, that they may be the tiniest start of new things to come, that they may feed the part of you that feels hopeless and forever lost. This is painful ‘now.” But it is only now. New moments are forming, most we cannot see or even feel yet. But they are there. This moment of now is changing, too. Breathing in, and breathing out. Breathing in, and breathing out. Even if the air itself is foul, the tiniest and calmest of breaths is a reminder you are still here. Even though you may have doubts about wanting to be here. Even though you may have lost friends, you may have lost family, you may have lost personal belongings. This is the phase of ‘nothing makes any sense.’ It will give way to another phase, and things will start to make sense, in time.
