The Spirit is Willing, But the Flesh is Weak

Promise Made

“We will be glorified with Him, provided we suffer with Him” (Romans 8:17). In other words, there’s no glory without suffering, but there’s also no suffering without glory. Source

Jesus says that those who worship in spirit and in truth are “true worshipers.” So if we are going to fully understand what Jesus means, we have to explore what worship is, then we have to determine what it means to worship in spirit and what it means to worship in truth. Source

Something Greater Than Ourselves

Jesus taught us the truth to live by, and He showed us the way to live. He showed us the way and he taught us the truth. Jesus' call of Levi in Mark 2:13-17 gives us a glimpse of both of these methods of Jesus and how they inform our discipleship to Him. Source
