God said in the Book of Acts, through the Apostle Peter, "In the last days I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh."  What were the last days that were spoken of here?  Was it dealing with the last days of planet earth?  of the last days of humanity? or is there another idea in the heart of God?     Are the last days, referring to the last days of the Old Covenant?  Was the pouring out of the Spirit unto us, the operation that gives us the ability to transition out of one Covenant into another?  I believe the answer would be yes.  The Spirit takes of Christ and shows or reveals to our hearts.  Christ himself is the transition from the Old to the New.    He takes away and He brings forth.  He makes all things New.  To me and you that is done by the Spirit of God through Christ being in you, and the Spirit of God showing Him to you!  Glory to God in the Highest!  Peace on earth toward men.  Christ has come and dwells in His many membered Body that is the Church.  Again I say, Glory to God!

Pentecost II

In the Book of Acts Chapter 2 is written the record of the coming of the Holy Spirit.  Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.    I would like us to pay particular attention to verse 1.  "When the day of Pentecost had fully come."  There had been many days of Pentecost in the history  of the Israelites and Jewish people, but it had never fully come until the Spirit was poured out  from on high.  Pentecost could never come in completion until Passover had come in its completion.  All of this is  in connection to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus came, died, was buried, arose from the dead, and ascended back unto the Father.    "He shed forth this," Peter declared in the Book of Acts.  The Holy Spirit came at the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ to fill the believers with the reality of Christ.  "He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit."  On the day of Pentecost the Church of Jesus Christ was born and joined to Him, to know Him in HIs fullness.  Glory to God!

The Feasts of the Lord VII - Pentecost

In this lesson Passover is broken down.  Looking close at Leviticus 23:1-9 you can see that there are 3 Feasts contained in Passover.  These speak of His death, His burial and His resurrection.  These Feasts are Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits. Jesus Himself went into death, He was buried, and He was raised from the dead.  This was done by Him and Him alone.  We are partakers of His work.  Without Him there is no fulfillment of the Feast.   This is very important.  Christ and His Work stands alone.  What I am saying His work stands with or without us.   We are brought into His Work.  When we believe into Christ we come into Him and His Work.  God places us in Christ.  This is the foundation of Christianity.  “By One Spirit we are all Baptized into One Body.”  Paul writes that we are baptized into His death in Romans 6 by the Spirit of God.   I believe this is the start of our journey.  We believe in Him, and in receiving Him the Old Man is dead, and our journey is coming into the New Man who is Christ.   I Pray this is edifying to your heart.  May God richly reveal the Living Christ in you.    Leviticus 23:1 “The LORD spoke again to Moses, saying, 2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'The LORD'S appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations—My appointed times are these: 3 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings. 4 'These are the appointed times of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. 5 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the LORD'S Passover. 6 'Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 'On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work. 8 'But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.'" 9 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 'He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.” 

The Feasts of the Lord VI - Passover, A 3 Day Feast

In the Book of Exodus, it is declared that the Passover is the Lord's sacrifice when He passed over the Israelites in the land of Goshen.  Before any Israelite was a partaker of the work of the Lord there was a slain lamb with the blood on the door lintel.  The Israelites had to enter into the Blood of that Lamb and eat its flesh in order to come out of that house in the brightness of the new day.     Exo 12:25  And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.    Before you or I could ever enter into Christ, He had to finish the work.  He had to come as man and proceed into death, burial and resurrection.  This was the Lord's work before we ever were partakers of it.  Now we come into the Lord through His shed blood, and eat the Lamb until we see the Light of the new day. Then we come into the Light of Christ, which is the Light of the New Day that dawns in our hearts.     What I am concerned with at this time, is many of the Lord's Body do not close the door and eat the Lamb.  They try to walk out in Christ by the religion they are taught.  We must first eat the Lamb, which will bring us into the Light of New Day.  Only by eating Him, can we come here.  Let us go in and close the door with Jesus and eat until the Light Appears.  Until we see Jesus.  Glory to God!

The Feasts of the Lord V - The Lord‘s Passover

In the Lord's death, He struck the death blow to the old man.  The Israelites came out of Egypt through the striking of the Lord.  We come out of Adam, religion, and every bondage through the striking of the Lord.  I am so thankful to God's death blow.  "For we are dead and our life is hid with Christ in God."  Christ is our life and is appearing in us to God's Glory!.  Amen.

The Feasts of the Lord IV - The Lord‘s Passover, The Striking of the Land

The Israelites did not just have Three Feasts.  They had a specific time, order and place of the Feasts.  Everything in Israel centered around the Lord and the Tabernacle or Temple.  The fulfillment is the same as the shadow.  The time, place and order centers around the Lord and His House. "You are the Temple of God, as God has said," II Corinthians 6:16. II Corithians 13:5 "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" The fulfillment of all Three Feasts are in Christ.  He is the fulfillment of all things.  We must look unto Jesus to find the completion to the Word of God.  Nothing else will complete it but Him.  Glory Be to God in the Highest!

The Feasts III - The Time and Place of the Gathering

In Exodus 3, Jehovah said to Moses that He had come down to deliver the people out of  the bondage of Egypt. In His deliverance He told the children of Israel that they would be taking a 3 Day Journey.  This 3 day journey is of utmost significance, as it is speaking of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.     Exodus 3:7"And Jehovah said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people that are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.: Exodus 8:27 "We will go three days journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, as he shall command us."    It may have taken the Israelites many years to come to Canaan, which it did, but the entire time they were on a 3 day journey.  That is same with us as believers.  We are in a 3 day journey the entirety of our walk in the Lord Jesus Christ.  We are observing a 3 Day Feast of the Lord as we observe Him, in His death, burial, and resurrection.    However, nothing could be observed unless He came down.  Jesus said I AM COME that they might have life.  His coming is the only way we have to Life.  We receive, observe and know this Life in Him.  Glory to God.  

The Feasts of The Lord - Introduction II - I AM COME

Over the next few months, I will be posting an in depth study of the Feasts of the Lord.  In our Bible class we went through the Feasts in depth.  Our aim and goal was to see how these are gathered up and fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ, and how we as believers partake of His fulfillment.     In this study, I came to more in depth understanding of Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles.  There were areas in these Feasts that became evident which I never knew.  I pray this study serves as an edification to your heart, a building up in Christ, and that He is seen and glorified.  Blessings to you in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Feasts of the Lord - Introduction

In the sculpture I did not see the correlation of what Jesus said, "I AM The True Vine to the Feast of Tabernacles until I was in the study of both.  Part or much of  the significance of the Feast of Tabernacles has to do with Ingathering's of the Fruit of the Field.  So as to mention it, it also deals with the King, who we know is fulfilled in our Lord Jesus Christ. However, if we look at the Feast as pertaining to the Harvest Time, we have to find that fulfillment in Christ, and no where else.  ALL The Scripture testifies of Him.    John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. New King James Version."   Jesus stated here that their fruit may remain.  This is of heavy significance.  Our fruit is that of Him, or defined in the scripture as the fruit of the Spirit.  We could say that one aspect of the Feast of Tabernacles or Feast of Ingathering, is the gathering up of the Fruit of THE TRUE VINE, into the House. HALLELUJAH.  Yes, and not just a gathering up of it, but that it may remain.  That the effect of Christ is He would remain or His substance would be formed in us.  Glory to God!   Leviticus 23:39 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the produce of the land, you are to celebrate a feast to the LORD for seven days. There shall be complete rest on the first day and also on the eighth day.

I AM The True Vine IV - That Your Fruit May Remain

Not only is Jesus the True Vine in relationship to the Israel of God, He is the True Vine in relationship to mankind Himself.  From the beginning Christ was the Vine that God purposed in the earth.  God’s plan toward mankind has always been Christ.  His intent has been to bring forth the fruit of Christ in man.  So, when God made man, His vision was Christ in the man, bringing forth the fruit of God.   When we look at mankind, the natural man to try and find purpose it becomes futile or as Solomon said, vanity of vanities.  Man in himself could never complete the purpose of God.  God Himself was always the only one who could get His purpose.  He gets it in His person, Jesus Christ our Lord.  When Christ came in the earth, speaking of Him coming both on planet earth and in man, purpose was finally seen.  Christ was always God’s purpose in the earth.  Christ was God’s purpose for planet earth, and for mankind.  In Christ is where the true fruit of God is found.  God was always after fruit.   In looking at mankind, God is like a farmer.  A farmer looks at the land and doesn’t just see a nice piece of ground, but He sees the land filled with fruit.  If he is a corn farmer, he sees corn.  If the land does not bear corn, or cannot bear corn it is worthless.  God looks at mankind, His earth, and sees Christ.  The potential for the ground is Christ. The purpose for the ground is Christ.  This is the purpose for man existing that Christ would be formed in them.    This only comes through the fulfillment of the Seed being planted in the earth to bring forth its own kind.  Christ was planted in death, burial, and resurrection in the earth.  God puts that seed in our hearts to bring forth its very own substance that was brought forth in the person of Jesus Christ when He came as man in our hearts.  This is the work of the Spirit, to plant, cultivate and bring forth the Living Christ in you and I that are His husbandry or garden.  Glory to God!      

I AM The True Vine III - The True Vine of the Earth

Unless a Seed of Wheat falls into the ground and dies it abides alone.  The Seed of God, the planting of the Lord fell into the ground to bring forth in the ground (man made of the ground), His own substance.  Jesus came forth to bring an increase of Himself in a New Creation.  We who are His are that creation and are filled with the substance of Him.  Glory to God.

I AM The True Vine II

Jesus declared of Himself that He is the True Vine.  Consider that statement.  In the Old Covenant, Israel was known as the planting of the Lord.  Jesus was planted of God, the Seed of wheat that fell in the ground and died.  We are planted in Him.  All true planting of God is in Christ Jesus.  

I AM The True Vine

Paul states Christ, who is our life, shall appear and we shall appear with Him in Glory.  Many doctrines have taught us this is a event that will happen someday.  However, I want us to consider that Christ our Life is in us.  Paul tells us that much in Colossians Chapter, "Christ in you the hope of Glory."  Now if I consider He is in me, I could also consider that this appearing is from within.  Christ appearing in me makes me aware of His Glory.  Makes me aware of that which He is.     Therefore, I become like Him when He appears.  He is my life.  As He is so am I.  This is taught in Paul's, Peter's and John's epistles.  We are like Him.  If we simply consider we have been born of Him when we were born again, and the substance that He is is NOW our Life it would make this simpler to understand.  You and I are not separate from Jesus.  He is now our very Life.  He now lives within us, and He is changing our hearts, souls and minds into the same image that He is.  Glory to God.
