Serve Without Fear

I’ve spent months in a bit of a funk and without creative energy. Today, though, let’s look at Psalm 19. In this podcast, I encourage you to look at the list of benefits there are if you obey what God says and ask Him what one change you could make this week to start experiencing those rewards in your life. I observe that: What God has to say is good; When I read what God has to say in the Bible, the sins lurking under the surface in my heart get exposed to the light of God and HIs grace; When I make them the meditation of my heart through the day, I get to be pleasing to God; What God says, if obeyed, brings a long list of rewards with it. Rewards of Obedience

We are all in the nowhere between two somewheres, aren’t we? We are looking at a new and different world and the future isn’t clear for most of us. We can tell the changes we’ve experienced will change the future, but we can’t see with clarity what is around the corner. In this episode learn how to navigate these times with peace, grace and hope.

All of us communicate change at different times in our life. Today I am focusing on two important principles that will make the results of your communication more fruitful.

Communicating Change

As we live our lives, let’s keep the perspective of heaven and hope in God. Let’s live every day listening for God’s quiet nudges and assignments and carry them out quickly. Let’s pay attention to the goodness of God and let Him be our refuge in this difficult time. Let’s not let the prospect of death frighten us, but hold on to our hope in Christ Jesus for a future in heaven forever.

Perspective in Crisis

God is with us. Are we looking for Him? Are we grateful? Do we have a friendship with Him? Are we listening for His voice? Are we obeying the quiet prompts to call someone, send a meal, send a text. Those acts of kindness are God-inspired.

Joy in Crisis

During this global pandemic we need hope, but not the kind we talk of when we say, “I hope you get better,” or “I hope I don’t get sick.” God offers us and anchor in heaven during this storm.
