In this episode an emotional Mark reveals that this expedition - for him - might be finished on medical grounds. During one of the standard training ascents Mark started to feel very unwell and the decisions was made to immediately head back to Basecamp to get medical assistance. Tests, some time on an oxygen tank and a few ECG’s later it was revealed that Mark has a serious chest infection and might not be able to continue on this ascent of Everest.
