When we are awake and engaged in our daily activities such as working, studying, doing arithmetic problems, and so on, we are typically in the Beta brainwave state. Beta waves have a frequency range ranging from around 13 Hz to nearly 40 Hz. They are often characterized by a large amplitude. A low beta wave frequency is referred to as "beta one," and it is related to attention that is calm, focused, and balanced. However, beta one promotes relaxation and concentration throughout the mind, which many believe is necessary for achieving enlightenment. Beta one is associated with alertness, attentiveness, problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, or focused mental activity. However, beta one does not promote relaxation and concentration throughout the mind. The Advantages of Beta Pure Waves There are numerous advantages to having a normal level of beta brainwaves or increasing the number of beta brainwaves in your brain: When we concentrate, we produce a large number of beta waves in our brains. When you find yourself unable to concentrate on something for whatever reason, it is recommended that you listen to beta binaural beats in order to stimulate your brain into going into concentration mode to help you. Motivation: According to some researchers, enhancing beta waves in students who are demotivated to study can provide a significant motivation boost. 6 Steps To Use Your Breath For Concentration And Attention The simplest way to practice mindful breathing is to pay attention to each inhalation and exhalation as they occur. Open or closed eyes are fine, as is a soft gaze where you are not concentrating on anything in particular with your gaze. Set aside a specific time each day to practice this exercise, but it can also be beneficial to do so when you're feeling anxious or stressed. Practicing mindful breathing on a regular basis may make it easier to do so when faced with challenging situations. A deep inhale, followed by a hold of your breath, followed by a long, exhale through your mouth, can be helpful when you're trying to calm yourself down in a stressful situation (4 seconds). It may be helpful to pay attention to your chest rising and falling or the sensation in your nostrils as you inhale and exhale. As you do this, you may find that your thoughts or physical sensations cause your attention to wander. It's fine. Try to gently bring your attention back to your breath as soon as you become aware that this is happening. How to Use Your Breath to Concentrate and Refocus Your Attention 1. Find a relaxed and comfortable position before you begin. If you prefer, you can sit on a chair or on the floor with an extra pillow. Keep your spine straight, but don't overtighten it. Place your arms wherever you feel most comfortable. Place your tongue on the roof of your mouth, if that's more comfortable for you. 2. Recognize and invite relaxation in your body. Relax and become curious about your body's sensations, touch, and connection to the floor or chair while seated here. Relax any areas of tightness or tension you may be experiencing. Breathe. 3. Pay attention to the beat of your own breathing. Your natural breath flow can be felt—in and out. There's nothing you need to do other than just breathe normally. Not too long, not too short, but just right. Breathe into your body and notice where you feel it. It's possible that it's in your tummy. In the chest, throat, or nostrils, for example. Take a deep breath at a time and see if you can become aware of the sensations associated with it. Breaths come and go as quickly as they come and go. It's okay if you can't feel your breath in every part of your body. At different times of the day, we are more in tune with certain parts of our bodies than others. 4. It's possible that your mind wanders to unrelated topics. It's not a big deal if this happens. It's completely normal. Be aware that your thoughts have drifted. Think about the word "thinking" or "wandering" and softly utter it in your head to yourself. Gently bring your attention back to your breathing. 5. Stay here for five to seven minutes.  Breathe in and out quietly. Once in a while, you'll lose yourself in your thoughts just gently return to your breath and come back to the present moment. 6. Notice your entire body, for a few more minutes. Let yourself relax even further and then, give yourself a pat on the back for completing today's meditation practice. Breathe out slowly, emptying your lungs as much as possible, for a count of about eight seconds. Fire Breathing Method 1. Inhale through the nose. 2. Hold your breath for a moment. 3. Breathe out in short, sharp bursts: fuo-fuo-fuo-fuo… 4. Repeat this process 6 times or so. Anxiety Breathing Method 1. To start, sit comfortably in front of a table. Elbows on the table, palms over eyes, eyes closed. 2. Imagine (visualize) your palms lighting up brightly. 3. Imagine this light flowing down through your arms… 4. Back up to your shoulders, and then to your chest. 5. Down to your solar plexus. Light up your solar plexus strongly. 6. Beam the light backward to light up your spine. 7. I would like to talk about meditation and give you some useful advice on how to get into the correct mental state so that your meditation is most effective for you. At first, it may be difficult, but it can be accomplished. It's also recommended that you keep an eye on your breathing. It's possible that this will detract from your efforts to relax and meditate. The sound of your breathing or the flickering of a candle's flame can help distract you if you find yourself obsessing over how rapidly you're breathing. 3. You'll want to start noticing any discomfort you may be experiencing. When you're just getting started, this is a common occurrence. Often, this is due to the fact that we lead such hectic lives that it can be difficult to sit still for even a short period of time. However, if you're not yet at ease, there's no need to force yourself to become so. It will take time and practice before you can do this. Instead, allow yourself to feel the unpleasant sensations that come up. Allow them to go at that point. Don't fight those unpleasant feelings, just let them pass naturally as you get acclimated to meditation. This can be healing in many ways. 4. When it comes to meditating on a daily basis, it is recommended that you find a meditation buddy if you have trouble following a set schedule. This person will sit with you while you meditate and watch your back to make sure you don't find any reasons to stop. Many people like to meditate alone, so this may not be useful for everyone. However, if you find yourself getting inconsistent in your meditation, this may be a lifesaver. 5. When meditating, you should avoid judging or rating your experiences. There will be days when you feel fantastic and succeed, but there will also be days when you get distracted or stop too soon and don't feel great afterward. Relaxation and attentiveness are the goals of meditation, no matter what happens. In order to avoid judging your sessions, focus on how these might be beneficial even in little doses. In the beginning, it can be difficult, but even more so if you are anxious and overworked. Meditation, on the other hand, necessitates regular practice. There will be times when you do not feel good about it, but it is possible to reap the rewards without having to deal with criticism or other people's opinions if you just keep at it.
