Jesus has given us authority to walk in.  We exercise His authority as we walk according to the Word and follow the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Walking in Authority

When we enter the Kingdom of God, we have become disciples of Jesus.  Our lives continue increasing in discipleship as we walk in obedience to God's Word.

Discipleship

Jesus is the ultimate spiritual authority in our life.  If we are to walk in spiritual authority in our lives, we must first submit to His authority.

Living Under Spiritual Authority

A man in authority is a man under authority.  The centurion believed in the healing words of Jesus because of his understanding of authority.

Scripture teaches that we are saved by grace through faith.  It also teaches that faith, though it is immaterial, is shown through it's actions.

We ought to hold nothing back from God!  Our attitude is to be one of absolute obedience to Him regardless of His commands.

No Strings Attached

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.  Cultivate a heart of humility before God and He will exalt you.

Help for the Humble

The highest calling in life is not in any occupation or corporation, but rather the call to preach the Gospel.  We have been saved to share in Christ and to share Christ with others!

Generous and even sacrificial giving was a mark of the early church, and so it is to be of the modern day church.  God gave us everything, and so we should turn around and give back to God and be generous to others.

The promise of protection in Psalm 91 is firmly rooted in this - that the one whom God protects is the one whom loves God with all of his heart, a heart that is firmly set on Him.

In order to walk in a godly manner and walk in the Lord's Strength, we must be equipped with and living in His armor.

Living Strong in the Lord

Being transformed by Christ is not a one-time event.  It is an everyday, continual conforming to His image.  We must be and will be transformed by the renewing of our mind to finish the spiritual climb in this life.

When we worship God, we are opening the door for His very presence to move in our lives.  Worship is crucial to the Christian life.

God must be our priority in life!  Everything comes second place to Him.

Keeping God First

God has set in place laws and principles that the Christian should learn in order to live life effectively.  Just as there are laws in the natural, there are laws in the spiritual realm.
