He then proceeded to enter various battles around Denmark, untill the next year where he won the Danish DMC title with his dj crew and placed 3rd at the world finals. That following summer he travelled to New York and won the prestigious New Music Seminar dj-battle, as the first and only european ever to do this. The year after he defended his danish DMC title, and placed 2nd at the world finals, bested by the now late great Grandmaster Roc Raida. Third was to be the charm, as he in 1996 once again defended his danish DMC title and proceeded to win the world finals. He then spent the next 10 years touring around the world, opening for names like Gangstarr, Dilated Peoples, Jay Z, Erykah Badu, also judging other DMC country finals, and heating up clubs with his amazing sets.

Self Awareness allows you to understand other people, how they perceive you, your attitude and your responses to them in the moment. We might quickly assume that we are self aware, but it is helpful to have a relative scale for awareness. If you have ever been in an auto accident you may have experienced everything happening in slow motion and noticed details of your thought process and the event. This is a state of heightened awareness. With practice we can learn to engage these types of heightened states and see new opportunities for interpretations in our thoughts, emotions, and conversations. Having awareness creates the opportunity to make changes in behavior and beliefs.
