Love makes us feel vulnerable and when you think about it, it’s not so much that we’re about falling for someone.... it’s more about falling, and then finding out that the feeling isn’t mutual. So sometimes, what we do is, pull back and act as uninterested as we possibly can — hoping that by pulling away from them, we get them to the point where their fear of losing us, forces them to open up about how they truly feel about us.
