Whether you play guitar, bass, keys, drums, or some other instrument, we all want the same thing; to sound good, look good, and make it as easy as possible to do so. I recently overhauled my bass rig. Ten months and a couple thousand dollars later I have a setup that I would be comfortable playing just about any gig with and it was worth every second and every penny getting to that point!
