My name is Emma Mae and I am student at UW Milwaukee. I decided to start On the Prowl as a way to talk about the current events that are happening on campus and apply both activism and academia to address them. This podcast aims to uplift the student voice and encourage conversations between students and staff at the University. By focusing on the impacts that certain administrative decisions have on student life, I hope to empower my peers to begin speaking up for a student lead campus.  Keep up to date with recent events that are happening at UWM and the ways that they are impacting student life.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee I major in Women and Gender Studies and Media Studies. By applying the knowledge I learn in the classroom, this podcast aims to identify the ways our university could be doing better, by giving a platform to the students who pay to keep it running. Education on a college campus is unique, and the value it offers to our community is something that shouldn't be over looked. By focusing on recent events at the UWM campus, this podcast will uplift the student voice and push for fairer opportunities in education on our campus.
