Excellent location between HS & Epcot. As well as convenient to multiple restaurants including those in Beach/Yacht club. Was in one of the quiet buildings. That was nice, but only time I can say I didn't like the walk, but it was really not too bad about 5 to 10 minute walk to the main building for food. Contemporary, loved the monorail. Got to meet my Captain there, Captain Hook. My best bud for the villains. I can't put my finger on it, but the Contemporary just was missing some of the magic. Don't know if it is just that it is one of the original resorts and feeling its age. Cindy said that she always loved Pop, but with the addition of the Skyliner they love it even more! Deb said that Music was wonderful but now that they have stayed at Pop, they love the convenience of the Skyliner! Are we seeing a trend here on how much people love the Skyliner?Cheddar from the Big CheeseBrenda: The Candlelight Processional is returning to Epcot this year! Starting November 26, it will run during the Festival of the Holidays until December 30. For this year, rather than use guest choirs from different community groups and schools, Disney is expanding their cast member choir. Disney expects guest choirs to return next year.Sophie: One day, Nemo is gone for good, the next day, it’s back! A new reimagined show, based on the same characters, will debut in 2022! So, if you were hoping for a return to Finding Nemo to Animal Kingdom Park, it will be back!Mike: Coming back on the radar -- dessert parties and fireworks cruises! Starting September 18, the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise is coming to the Magic Kingdom. Also, over at the Tomorrowland Terrace, there will be 3 different dessert parties starting October 3rd. There’s a “Pre-party” and “after-party” option that you can enjoy desserts before the fireworks, with reserved standing viewing of the fireworks in one of the plaza gardens, and one called Treats and Seats where you enjoy desserts and special seating at the Terrace. Also, over at Epcot, there will be two Harmonious fireworks dining packages coming. One is over at the Rose & Crown, and the other one is at the Spice Road Table. Both start on October 1.Brenda: Dining reservations for Space 220 opened this morning. This unique dining experience will take diners on a journey from Earth to the stars, a simulated 220 miles above Earth’s surface, for an immersive experience that will delight all the senses. The menus for the two-course prix fixe lunch and the 3-course prix fixe dinner were announced last week. The cost for 2-course lunch is $55 per adult and $29 per child. The cost for the 3-course dinner is $79 per adult and $29 per child. The restaurant is not accepting reservations for Sept 20-26 but will accept walk-ins only. This is Season 2, Episode 36 for September 6, 2021, and our feature topic today is Planning for a Holiday. For today's podcast, which falls this year on Labor Day here in the US, we are talking about our tips for things you need to consider as you tackle Walt Disney World during a holiday. Now, here's the rundown of what we talked about: Updates from last week:In the Facebook Group, the things that people wanted to do most in the Never Have I Ever category are the behind the scenes tours when they are back!Brenda’s guests left us a great comment on what the Cast Members are looking for to be chosen to be the Grand Marshall of the Parade: What they’ve told us is that they look for:1. People without little kids. They typically don’t pick kids because of the time commitment. It takes about 2-4 hours.2. Leisurely stroll into the park. We stop at Starbucks to get a drink and take in Main Street before entering the park.3. Show the Disney spirit! We typically wear matching shirts, ears and sometimes shoes too.4. The last time we were picked he followed us from Main Street to the Haunted Mansion (it was his favorite ride). We’ve had different people pick us each time. Cheddar from the Big CheeseMike: Walt Disney World Annual Passes will be going back on sale starting September 8th! They have 4 types of passes, three of which are for Florida Residents or DVC Members only. The fourth pass, known as the Disney Incredi-pass, is open to everyone and is the most expensive at $1,299 + tax per person. Brenda: A couple of things of note -- some of the Club Level lounges are reopening! The lounge at Animal Kingdom Lodge is now open, the Royal Palm Club at the Grand Floridian opens on September 16, the BoardWalk Resort is September 23rd, and the Contemporary is September 26th. Other Club Level lounges will open beyond that.Brenda: Also, Disney Cruise Line is offering up to 25% off on select sailings in September, October, and November. Reach out to us if you want to look into pricing.Sophie: A couple of weeks ago at Animal Kingdom Park, Azizi and Gino, two western lowland gorillas, gave birth to their first daughter. Well, the troop themselves revealed their name -- Ada (pronounced Ah-duh) -- which means first daughter. This is appropriate because this is Azizi’s first daughter she’s had. You may be able to see them at the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, where they have been seen bonding. The house is located at 4406 West Kingswell Avenue in the Los Feliz area, and Walt and Roy’s aunt and uncle let them board in their home for $5 per week in 1923. This location is where Walt finished the Alice Comedies, which were a series of animated/live-action shorts created by Walt Disney. Brenda: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at WDW is going to be closing on September 7 for a refurbishment. This is the same day that BTMRR at Disneyland is also closing. Here are some of the neat details that you will be able to experience on the Wish:The Wish will have Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever outdoor spa retreat, complete with whirlpool spas, plush loungers and plenty of space for open-air yoga sessions.Untangled Salon and Hook’s Barbery, our first standalone salon and barbershop experiences, each inspired by a classic Walt Disney Animation Studios film.Three new upscale bars and lounges - the Keg & Compass, Nightingale’s, and The Bayou.Sophie: Returning for a second year this November, Give Kids the World will have their second annual Night of a Million Lights Spectacular! Say hello to Humphrey!Mike: Beginning on August 11 on Disney+, Goofy stars in three new “How to” shorts from the Walt Disney Animation Studios: “How to Stay at Home” is the name of the series, and it takes a lighthearted look at the pandemic. “How to wear a Mask”, “Learning to Cook”, and “Binge Watching” are the names of the three shorts.Mike: Lastly, Disneyland released details and pricing on the new Disneyland Magic Key Program. They go on sale starting August 25th, and there are four Magic Key Passes:Dream Key ($1,399 with no blockout dates and free parking, up to 6 theme park reservations at a time)Believe Key ($949 with some blockout days, and 50% off parking, up to 6 theme park reservations at a time)Enchant Key ($649, up to 4 theme park reservations, and more blockout days)Imagine Key ($399, only available to Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599. 2 theme park reservations at a time, more blockout days).There are other merchandise discounts I won’t get into. Starting November 8th on select nights will be the Disney Very Merriest After Hours party. This is the replacement for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Sunset Seasons Greetings is also returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (YAY!) and Santa will be bringing some North Pole cheer to a motorcade down Hollywood Boulevard. Also, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have festive seasonal decor and festive Disney character flotillas sailing down  Discovery River to the sounds of joyful songs of the season. There will also be a holiday edition of Tree of Life Awakenings. Mike: Another Holiday event that will be coming is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, from November 26 - December 30.
