Stoicism, Essentialism, Nihilism, it was all made up by a person with the same intelligence as you on how everything works, its simply someone else's outlook on life, don't take it for anything more than that. I know I'm being a bit extreme here with my opinion but I really believe that people should do something because they want to, not for the sake of doing so. Hi everyone, this episode is another improv on something I've been thinking about recently and it has to do with beliefs. I always wondered why popular girls were popular at school and then it dawned on my about 20 minutes before I recorded this. Feel free to listen and find out. In this episode, I cover how Nazis used repetition to indoctrinate people, why kids at school are popular, the formation of stereotypes and how you can create your own beliefs. How beliefs are formed?

The victim mentality is something a lot of us suffer from and we don't even know it, we blame things that are our of our control and limit ourselves due to the fact that we think we are powerless. In this episode, I discuss what it really means to have a victim mentality, the difference between blaming yourself and taking responsibility and how our loci of control can affect how we work in our day to day lives and how it can be used to get rid of the victim mentality. The problem with having a victim mentality

We are so focused around ourselves, the world is massive and we are 1 out of 7 billion. I couldn't help but smile at this thought as the irony between what we think and reality is crazy. And the thing is that this isn't anyone's fault, being egocentric is our default setting. We are sitting in a world full of self-centred people and you can't argue with that because it is a fact. We are so self-absorbed with our own lives and our own plans we forget to look around and realize how many other people are around us living their own lives. In this episode, I discuss "seeing the bigger picture" and reminding you that there is no such thing as unrealistic.

We like to think we have free will because it makes us feel like we’ve got a send of control over what we do, but is it true? In this episode I dive into the questions that we need to consider in determining what we have control over and how much control we have. I hope you enjoy it :)
