Over the years he became somewhat successful, becoming one of the youngest and longest serving fire chiefs and working with a brilliant team changed the model to stop fires to save people rather than rescue dead bodies. His tireless work achieved staggering reductions in fire and road deaths over the years. Now he spends his time helping others as a coach and therapist and was partner in a business support group that donated 100% of profits to local charitable causes.
