He soon coerced enough buddies and willing souls to embark on ride-whatcha-got outings, and well before anyone uttered 'gravel bike' or 'groad', the Grasshopper Adventure Series was born. The series kicks off in late January and new this year will be the first editions of the two-day Mendo Hopper August 11-12, and new Usal Hopper: The Lost Coast, in October, which will traverse some of the most spectacular terrain ridable on a drop bar bike in North America. This month the legalization of hemp has been riding along with Farm Bill legislation, while for 2018 WADA removed hemp-based CBD from the banned list, making it a viable option for athletes seeking relief from pain along with a number of other potential uses.
