This episode is an extra special one as Alan Shawgo (@shawgostudios) has been a long time friend of ours for a while and even has his own podcast (To The West and Back) which you should definitely listen to as well! They grapple with the state of the United States and what some of the paths forward might look like including restorative and transformative justice as well as the importance of political education.
