#061. Im Taking A Break

This week I share my first takes at a new project. Some of my favorite musicians cover and re imagine great music forgotten in the musical landscape. John Mayer did Tom Petty and Eric Clapton, The Beatles did Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly, Elvis basically reimagined the American Songbook with Ben Wiesman.  My intentions are to cover some of the most important songs to me from the past. I am a 60's, 70's and 80's fan like no other I know, and currently Fleetwood Mac's (Stevie Nicks), Landslide, The Band and Neil Youngs Helpless, and John Mayer's Gravity is having a huge impact on my playing style and I hope to record 2 of the 3 of these onto my 3rd album in the Spring.
