The weekend of October 9th will go down as maybe the most exciting weekend of College Football in 2021.  Mississippi fends off Arkansas when the Hogs fail to execute a two-point conversion with no time remaining.  Iowa fights back to beat Penn State riding high with an opportunistic defense.  DOWN GOES BAMA!  Texas A&M was able to match the Crimson Tide's physicality and Jimbo Fisher became the first former Nick Saban assistant to win against their forner boss.  And how about the wild Red River Shootout, where Texas goes up 28-7 in the 1st quarter before freshman Caleb Williams is inserted into the mix, igniting life into the Sooner offense.  Gregg takes a look at all the draft prospects in these matchups.  The biggest question is what's up with Spencer Rattler?  Gregg explores what this game means for Rattler's future.

Episode 9 is the last installment of Gregg's early season look at his top 10 lists by position as he reviews the secondary.  Derek Stingley is at the top of the CB list, but who will b the next corner off the board?  Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner?  Kaiir Elam?  Andrew Booth, Jr.?  And at Safety, Kyle Hamilton looks to be a lock in the top 10, but the position is deep at the top with Jaquan Brisker, Verone McKinley III, Daxton Hill and Brandon Joseph likely to hear their names called early in the 2022 Draft. Gregg also talks about what the top five picks might look like.  Evan Neal and Kayvon Thibodeaux feel like locks, while Derek Stingley coiuld be the first CB since Jeffrey Okudah to come off the board in the top 5 and Kyle Hamilton could be the top Safety to come off the board since Jamal Adams went No. 6 in 2017.  However, we all know the QB position will likely dominate the talks at the top of the draft, yet with this underwhelming draft class, will we even see a QB come off the board in the top 10?  Spencer Rattler and Sam Howell are having their struggles this year, so Malik Willis, Matt Corral and Desmond Ridder are moving up draft boards.

In the  third installment of the post-draft edition of the Ready for the Draft podcast.  Gregg takes a look at the undrafted free agents for all 32 teams and gives his thoughts on which UDFA's have a shot to make a roster. Gregg also reviews his "By the Numbers" segment where he tried to predict the number of players drafted in each round by position based on the historical data of the last five drafts.  Do the numbers help predict the outcome?  Gregg also took it a step further and tried to plug players in each round as well.
